The branding is a mixture of modern, organic and classic elements which give a fresh and inviting vibe. I am constantly asked by clients how they can attract their ideal client to their business. Targeted graphics help A LOT, but there is more you can do BEFORE you work with your designer to really attract those dream clients.

1. Define who they are - get really specific about location, age, gender, income, their hobbies, what they like and what they don't, their occupation etc. The more specific, the better.

2. Once you know who they are, find out where they hang out. Is it on instagram? The local mum's group? An online forum or a nearby farmer's market? Find out where it is, and hang out there to start making relationships - don't just go in for the hard sell.

3. Tailor your services to these people specifically. Getting specific might be scary, but your clients will be thrilled that your services, products and packages are so tailored to what they need!

4. Share with them how you can solve the challenges they face. Make it about them, not about you, the benefits, not the features of your services or products and those ideal clients will be hooked!

I am a self-confessed typography geek. I love it! I love finding new fonts, creative layout, learning the history of type, all of it! I recently came across this Muara typeface and I love the mix of the strong serif elements mixed with the flowing calligraphic flourishes. It's so unique and would work so well for something fun like an ice cream business or cake company, don't you think?

PAST PROJECT: Loco Cocoa (Crazy Chocolate) is an artisan, handmade chocolate business creating unique treats with an artistic finish. When creating the branding, I wanted to draw on the Aztec/Myan aesthetic through pattern and fun colour, but giving it a fresh look and feel. The logo layout needed to be versatile to be stacked, or wide or as a stamp to allow it to be used in many different ways as the business needs!

I so love designing for creative businesses who love a clean look with a fun vibe and this certainly fits the bill!

It's true a great designer can work with anyone, but you wouldn't go see a GP if you need specialised neurological treatment - you'd go see a Neurologist, right? Well it's the same with design. I've seen many business owners simply find any designer to work with, or the cheapest designer to create branding for their business, but not all designers specialise in branding, and perhaps that designer's style isn't right for your market niche.

SO, if you're a female creative, who loves feminine but minimal design with a neutral palette with pops of colour, I'm your designer! Working together we will create the branding of your dreams that you AND your clients will love and will take your business to the next level!

If you’re very observant you might have noticed hints of changes coming, if not, that’s cool too. I’m not always a fan of change, but what I am planning is a good thing.
