Meet the team: Dean Tran. Officially our general tech officer and video maker. Unofficially, the answer to "who can figure this out?"

Dean's path here reads like three CVs: finance degree, accounting in Sydney, app testing in Saigon, and now keeping our tech running while shooting and cutting video. He'd be the first to tell you he's still learning some of it. He'd also be the one who stays until it works. Both things are true, and honestly the second one matters more.

Star chart says Ta**us, and the bull-headedness checks out: once Dean takes something on, it's getting finished. But there's a soft Pisces current underneath, which is why the stubbornness always lands gently.

Yes, he shares a surname with one of our founders. We are contractually unable to elaborate, except to say the stubbornness appears to be hereditary.

Meet the team: Curtis Tran, our Designer 2IC.

Curtis doesn't post much. Doesn't say much either.

But does it suit our style? It does. Cool, calm, collected. Does not budge, quietly listens.

Typesetting nobody notices because it's right. Layouts rebuilt overnight without a word about it.

We'd introduce him at length, but he'd hate that.

There are people who work at a studio, and people the studio is built out of.

Will Phan, known here only as Beo, has been with TDS since the start. Senior designer. Steady hand. The one everyone checks with before they commit to something.

Nobody here has ever had to wonder whether Beo would come through.

Once you are in, you are in.

Cảm ơn Beo.

Welcome back, Đào.

Đào first joined us as an intern and is returning to the graphic design team. She learns fast, brings street style into everything she touches, and spends her weekends breakdancing and teaching kids to do the same.

Glad to have you back.

New work just launched 🔵

We've designed the 2026 global poster campaign for the Dalgarno Institute's World Resiliency Day — built on one unflinching idea: Fall. Feel. Rise.

A campaign that names the thing most public health work talks around — that substances skip the feeling, and feeling is the only way through — without lecturing the person reading it.

Bold blue. Pixel-art icons. Type that doesn't blink.

Designed to live on walls, in schools, in community spaces and across screens worldwide during World Resiliency Week.

New launch: the Granor Capital website is live.

Granor Capital is a private capital firm, and they wanted a brand and site that felt calm, credible and built to last. We took care of the lot, from the brand identity through to the finished website.

A genuinely enjoyable one to work on.

A year of work with the Dalgarno Institute, now live on our site. 💛

From Earth Day to World Cancer Day, Feb Fast, Lifeline awareness, and an ongoing series on resilience and recovery: twenty-three campaigns across seven public-health moments in 2026.

Alcohol, to***co, cannabis, mental health, and the quiet science that often gets drowned out.

The Dalgarno Institute has been a constant for our studio since our earliest years, a client whose work asks bigger questions than most briefs will carry. We're proud to have designed this year of it.

New work out of the studio this week — we're really proud of this one. 🤎

We've just launched the brand identity for Granor Capital, a non-bank lender and fund manager built for Australian property finance. The brief was to create something that felt institutional without being corporate, the kind of brand you'd trust with a wholesale fund, but that still has warmth and craft in every detail.

We built a flowing GC monogram inspired by the meaning of "Grant + Honour," and grounded the whole system in Heritage Brown and Misty Beige instead of the usual navy-and-grey finance palette. Every touchpoint was designed, specified and documented from the 16×16 favicon all the way up to the architectural signage that'll mark the entrance of their Brisbane office.

The case study even has a little scroll-triggered envelope animation we had a lot of fun building.

Huge thanks to Tim, Lynn and the Granor team for trusting us with this one.
