I’ve been busy working on some exciting projects and the juggle has been real. Today I almost missed a really important appointment, thankfully they were kind enough to fit me in. Whether you’re side-hustling or have made your small biz your main gig, there definitely seems to be a point where you need to start outsourcing some jobs!

For me, I have always tried to do every little thing in my business myself, juggling the designing, accounting, enquiries, social media etc, but this has only resulted in chaotic mess of half-finished jobs and complete burnout. Turns out I can’t work til 1am every night and function on 3 cups of coffee the next day… 🥴

Having learned that I can’t do every, single thing, I’ve begun to reach out to others to share some of the load and handover jobs to people who are better (and also faster) at those tasks than I am. (I am a gun designer, not so great with numbers…)

Recently I’ve outsourced my accounting to and my blood pressure has been thankful ever since. Goodbye to trying to figure out expenses and taxes.

I’m also hoping to outsource my copywriting. I want to ensure my clients who are struggling with content are able to not only get beautifully designed branding, but also a consistent tone of voice that truly captures their unique brand.

I recently started making a conscious effort to a more low-tox life, from skincare, haircare and cleaning products.

Having suffered with eczema as a kid and now seeing my little one experience the same itchy skin, I’m looking more carefully at the ingredients and chemicals I bring into my home.

So when the opportunity to work with Homegrown Cleaning Co. arose, I jumped at the chance to work with a business I align with.

With a clean, fresh typeface and earthy tones giving us those organic and natural feels, we crafted a new logo, submark, business card and thank you card. ✨
