HI FRIENDS & FOES. Here’s FIVE things about me that you didn’t ask about, but I’ma tell you anyway.
🌻 Nicole is my second name. Andrea is my first.
🌻 It’s been 5years since I started (HALF A DECADE! THAT IS LIKE IF I HAD A CHILD. THEY WOULD BE IN KINDY RN. GOOD OLD NIC IS A KINDY KID 😭)
🌻 isn’t named after me. L O L - You all thought it was
🌻 Like many of you, things make more sense when I can write/draw them. Subsequently, this page is chip off the tip of the iceberg of my thoughts and wonderings and lessons that show up on my doorstep (some are learned, some are still in the process of being learned)
🌻 This cute pic of this cute girl was taken the weekend before I had a massive week of crazy times and emotional upheaval and swollen eyes and snotty crying (reaaal talk). I say that as a reminder to you (but more to remind me) that
• insta is cute but curated
• friends are real - they’re valuable, and they shine brightest in tough times, so watch who is sitting with you in your pain and turmoil. I have found myself some true keepers.
• in friendship, you gotta learn to reach out for them equally as you want them to be there for you (LOUDER FOR NICOLE)
• life is messy and overwhelming but it is also big and beautiful and wonderful
• grit and resilience isn’t found nor refined in comfort - so when you’re uncomf, maybe the grit and resilience muscles are just asking to be worked out
• there’s always tomorrow
