One night at the Sydney Opera House with mates. Nedd, Noah and a room full of people who believe the same thing - homelessness in this country is solvable.

We were honoured to be joined by Her Excellency The Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia who reminded us all what it looks like to put care at the centre of everything.

Meet Em and El. For 10 days they took on 10 completely different challenges. Burpee broad jumps, going without common comforts, donating toys, sleeping rough for a night, feeding people who needed it.

Together they raised over $8,000.

That’s the thing about NUC - you don’t have to do it alone. Grab your mates. Build a team. Pick your challenges and get around each other for 10 days.

This is Harper.

Signed up to NUC last year. Committed to 10km a day for 10 days. Then broke his collarbone right before it started.
Didn’t pull out. Just switched to riding 20km a day instead. 12 years old. Over $30,000 raised.

This one’s for the teachers. 🍎

Off the back of being named Young Australian of the Year and heading into our third year of NUC - I want more schools involved in 2026 than ever before.

The feedback from teachers and students has genuinely blown me away. Kids coming home energised. Classroom cultures shifting. Teachers telling us it’s changing things in ways they didn’t expect. That’s not something I’m willing to keep to a small group of schools.

So I’m calling on every teacher watching this - get your school registered for NUC Super Day. Thursday 16 October 2026. One day. One challenge. Real impact.
We’ve made it as easy as possible. Full curriculum built in partnership with the NSW Department of Education. Incentives for every school that signs up. Something you can take to your principal tomorrow.
