Looking for a fabulous mini break just 60 minutes from Sydney? This past weekend AWA's MD Anne Wild enjoyed a sensational stay-cay on the stunning Central Coast. Anne experienced some of the hidden gems she has discovered since promoting , and got to share this little slice of paradise with her family. See below Anne's recommendations for a 2-day, 1 night itinerary. 5 stars out of 5!

1) Early lunch at . Enjoy the most delicious seafood straight from the source with glorious views across the Hawkesbury.
2) Cocktail making class at . A fun, interactive activity (and excuse) to trial some delicious gin-based beverages, followed by yummy afternoon snacks at the adjoining – all in glorious garden surrounds.
3) Check into for a super comfy sleepover with absolute beachfront access.
4) Dinner at at the Superb food and service in stylish surrounds – all with wonderful water views.
5) Sunday morning stroll along the Terrigal Haven Coastal Walk - offering expansive ocean vistas and multiple viewing platforms to spot breaching Humpbacks during migration season.

AWA’s MD Anne Wild attended the cruise industry’s night of nights over the weekend at the 23rd Annual CLIA Cruise Industry Awards at the ICC in Sydney. Themed 'The Greatest Showman’, it was night designed to recognise the best and brightest in the local cruise industry and an event not to be missed on the annual cruise calendar. Well done to Joel Katz and his team at for an amazing night of fabulous food, fun and outstanding entertainment and to all the finalists and winners.

Visitor data released by (JNTO) reveals a new record for Australian travellers, with 1,058,300 visiting in the 2025 calendar year. 2025 is the first year that Australians have reached the major milestone of breaking the one million mark for travel to Japan, an incredible 15% increase on 2024.

Norwegian Spirit took centre stage yesterday, featuring on Channel 7’s Sunrise bringing a taste of life at sea to screens around the country.

Her appearance comes as Norwegian Spirit returns for her third season in local waters, sailing a series of immersive itineraries between Sydney and Auckland from December 2025 through to April 2026 before repositioning to the South Pacific. Designed as a premium, adults-focused experience on a smaller ship, Norwegian Spirit truly is where Grown-Up Getaways Begin.

Earlier this week, Norwegian Cruise Line made its Fremantle debut with the arrival of Norwegian Spirit into Western Australia for the first time. AWA had the pleasure of travelling to Fremantle to welcome the ship and host Perth-based media partners and TV crews for a close-up look at what’s on board before the ship continued her maiden itinerary for the local season, which includes calls to Albany, Adelaide, Kangaroo Island, Melbourne, and Sydney. Thank you to everyone who came on board!
