In this draping, we compared a cool starry blue vs a warm bronze on a Light Spring client. Here’s what happened:

✨ The bronze brought harmony to the face. The skin appears brighter and more even, and her natural contrast became soft and radiant rather than harsh.

“Contrast level” sounds simple… but it’s not always that obvious 👀

For some, it’s intuitive. For others, it’s like… wait, what am I even looking at? 😅
Here’s a quick way to understand yours:

• Look at your natural colouring (hair, skin, eyes)
Do they blend softly together or stand out from each other?

• Black & white test
Take a photo and turn it black & white →
If your features look very distinct = high contrast
If everything looks more blended = low contrast

• Hair vs skin difference
Dark hair + light skin = higher contrast
Similar tones = lower contrast

• Overall impression
Ask yourself: do I look more “defined” or more “soft”?
