Building an Instagram account from scratch and growing them is definitely a challenge.
You should know your audience, do proper research, content planning, “batching” content creation so that you don’t exhaust yourself, scheduling and repeat.

To create a content that work beyond going just viral requires lot of work behind them.

And before you say anything, yes.
The irony is not lost on me.

I have worked on other people’s pages.

Written captions. Planned content. Handled DMs.

Told people what to post and when to post it.

And my own page?

126 followers.

Half of them probably my friends and family who liked my post out of pity.

But here is the thing nobody tells you :

Knowing what to do and actually doing it for yourself are two completely different things.

When it is someone else’s page you just execute.

No overthinking.

When it is YOUR page,
suddenly everything Is kept for some other time.

The hook has to be right.
The topic has to be original.
The toddler has to be asleep.
You overthink everything till the stars align.

And by the time the stars align - nothing gets posted.

Have you ever been in this place where you postpone your things and it just never happens ?

They’re the ones that make their audience feel something before they ask for anything.

Educate first. Connect first. Be human first.
The sale follows the trust, not the other way around.

The creator who stopped trying to go viral and just got real is the one who actually built something.

You don’t need a ring light, a niche aesthetic, or 10k followers to start.
You need one person to read your post and think that’s exactly me.

That’s the whole game.

Small creators grow fastest when they stop performing for an algorithm and start talking to a human.

I am still in that process. Still figuring out this city, this market, this version of myself.

But I am starting to understand that every humbling moment is not a setback. It is part of the building.

If you know anyone who have had to start over in a new place , professionally or personally, send this to them.

Sometimes we just need to know that someone else understands.
