Objective Digital is a team of 16 passionate Customer Experience Consultants who aim to improve people's experience of websites, intranets, and business applications by considering the needs of the customer within the web development process. We research the way in which people use websites and other technologies, through interviews, surveys, focus groups, and desk research. We then develop new in

terface designs, including Interface Architecture and wireframe layouts, to provide an optimised experience for the customer. At any stage of the development process we provide usability testing and eye tracking to uncover usability issues which need to be rectified. We also provide a series of training courses for marketing practitioners and web developers to help them gain a deeper understanding of the needs of their users. Working with many large financial institutions and telcos, as well as medium-sized businesses, government departments, and universities has equipped our team with a wealth of knowledge on customer and user experience.

What is UX Maturity?........
User experience (UX) is "how people feel when they use a product or service."

Companies often differ in their understanding of UX and how they apply it to their business.

We call this “UX maturity” and it depends on things like:

How much the company knows about UX.
How aware and experienced their UX team is.
How well UX is integrated into the company’s structure and plans.
And how well the company understands the benefits of good UX.

The higher a company’s UX maturity, the more likely they are to create products and services that provide a great experience for their users.

This is why every engagement, particularly for our new clients, we determine their UX Maturity on a scale - how much do they understand what we do, how much do they need to be involved in project work with us, how much can they complement the work themselves, and ultimately do they have the structure in place to ensure they know how to manage the outcomes of a project?

A 2 days hands on workshop on UX Design & Delivery Course was successfully held between September 21, 2023 to September 22, 2023 in Singapore

It was a collaboration between Objective Experience and GovTech Singapore

The participants learnt how to define problem statements and objectives. They went through a typical process of generating hypothesis, research questions and creating their own discussion guide for a mock problem.

The participants also learnt how to generate customer personas and user journeys to learn how to communicate findings to stakeholders.

They were also introduced to the concept Eye-Tracking, how eye-tracking works and learnt how it can be implemented into user research.

WORLD INTERACTION DESIGN DAY 2023 at OBJECTIVE EXPERIENCE......
Interactions, and the design of interactions, are part of our human experience. It goes beyond digital, beyond screens, beyond touching glass and receiving that which we seek - interactions are all around us.

Through voice, through emotions, through communications that are spoken or written or unconscious, "interaction design" is a process that we are either consciously defining and shaping through design, or simply a player within it.

At Objective Experience, our acknowledgment through our research and human definition of what "interaction" is to our users helps shape and mould an ideal experience that creates "interactions" that guides and assists and works with people, not against them to create barriers or difficulty to interact, belong or achieve.

Interaction Design is for all people, of all needs, of all cultures, of all abilities. By understanding the discipline of how people interact with the world around them, and understanding their individual and bespoke needs of interaction requirements, we can design better products.

Through research, we learn and empathise that their desire for interactions may not be obvious. They may be unconscious, or unspoken. Through design, we can ensure we create a better future and ways of interacting with the world around us - that delights and inspires, and makes available accessibility and interventions that bring us all together.

World Interaction Design Day, on the 26th September 2023, is a global celebration of the ways we as humans connect; to each other, and to the world around us.

It showcases the role of Human Centered Design, and the process of "knowing" - what is the human desire to interact, to engage, to connect; by shaping and moulding these into ways of answering these desires.

This year's World Interaction Design Day themes for Objective Experience encompass what we do as a discipline to improve the human condition; by focusing on the practice of digital products, environments, and services - and how Ethics, Equity, and Responsibility are a lens within it.

On the 26th of September, to contribute to the sharing of knowledge and perspectives, and to help heighten the positivity of ethical, sustainable, and responsible design through interactions, Objective Experience will share their thoughts - what World Interaction Design Day means to us, and how is it important to us all.
