Which Duomo Milan ticket should you actually book? 🇮🇹🏛️

Because the rooftop terraces are NOT included in every Duomo ticket… and honestly the booking system confuses so many tourists visiting Milan 😭

If you want the BEST experience, this is the option I’d personally recommend 👇🏼

✔️ Full Pass
✔️ Rooftop Access
✔️ Choose stairs or lift

And trust me… the Duomo rooftop terraces are the part you do NOT want to miss ✨

A lot of people visit the cathedral itself and don’t realise you can actually WALK across the roof of the Duomo amongst the gothic spires overlooking Milan.

Years ago, rooftop access was far more limited — but now huge sections of the terraces are open and it’s honestly one of the most incredible things to do in Milan, Italy 🇮🇹

A few things you NEED to know before booking 👇🏼

⏰ Your rooftop ticket is TIMED

You cannot just show up whenever you want.

When booking your Duomo Milan tickets, you’ll need to choose a specific rooftop entry time — so make sure you arrive on time for your allocated window.

🌅 My biggest tip? Book late afternoon or sunset.

Golden hour at the Duomo rooftop is unreal.

The white marble glows, the gothic details light up and you get panoramic views across Milan that honestly feel magical.

🚪 There are TWO rooftop access options:
— Lift access
— Stair access

We did the stairs 😂👏🏼

But if your Europe legs are struggling after 20,000+ steps a day… maybe choose the lift hahaha.
