It’s not always about more effort. Sometimes, it’s about how quickly you move from an idea to action.
In this week’s Friday Observation, our founder, Naomi Skye, shares a conversation she had with a founder who had been sitting on a good idea for months.
The opportunity was there. They knew something in the business needed to change. They could see a better way forward.
But nothing had been implemented.
And there’s a very real opportunity cost when good ideas, better business processes and important decisions stay sitting on the founder’s desk.
One of the most consistent behaviours Naomi sees in successful founders is agility.
They recognise a bottleneck. They make the decision. They implement. They measure. And they adjust.
Because business growth doesn’t only come from having better ideas. It comes from your ability to turn the right ideas into action.
So, a Founder Test for this week:
What have you known you need to change, fix or implement in your business, but still haven’t acted on?
And what is waiting actually costing you?
If you already know something needs to change, are you genuinely waiting for more information or simply delaying the decision?
When your nudge comes; move.
