It's been a big week of radio interviews and today it's with my hometown's ABC - chatting with Kristy Reading on ABC New England North West about new music from F***y Lumsden, Trent Richardson, and Keely Ellen Music and the mighty Gympie Music Muster and the Mothertone Muster talent search.

Sorry, what?!

Did someone say Jake Whittaker is celebrating FOUR weeks on the ARIA Charts, coming in this week at No. 19 on the Australian Country Albums Chart with his EP, In My Blood.

This is all because of a whole lot of hard work from Jake, producer and guitarist (and lots in between) Jared Adlam Audio Production, mastering by 12th and Vine Post and the management team of Karen-lee Herrmann and Jason Williamson from Purple Muse, and I've loved getting the word out to media, and anyone else who will listen.

I first started working with Jake when he released his first single back in 2023 with Round Here thanks to a recommendation from Jared, and it's been onwards and upwards ever since, including a starring spot on Australian Idol in 2025.

Jake's success is another reminder that a lot of hard work, great songs and taking a chance on yourself can truly pay off.

He's been touring with The Wolfe Brothers this past week and he's off to Country Fest QLD this Friday in Townsville and Gympie Music Muster in August.
