If you want to know what’s really happening in country communities, put 700 CWA women in a room and listen.
This week, the Country Women's Association (CWA) of NSW is holding its 104th annual State Conference in Forster, with members from across the state debating more than 50 motions on the issues shaping rural and regional life.
Health care, roads, housing, agriculture, education, telecommunications and disaster resilience are all on the table.
The motions passed by delegates will help form the Association’s policy platform for the year ahead, which means these conversations do not stay in the conference room. They become the basis for CWA of NSW’s advocacy.
We're supporting this year’s conference with media relations, helping make sure the voices, concerns and solutions being raised in Forster are heard more widely.
