Trying to speak to everyone might feel safe. But it’s usually where things start to fall flat.

The biggest gap in influencer marketing right now is how narrowly the role of “influence” is defined.

If people are:
✔️discovering products through creators
✔️using influencers to validate decisions
✔️and even sharing post-purchase experiences

…then this is already a full-funnel channel.

But most influencer marketing activations still stop at content delivery.

The same person who can move someone to act online can carry far more weight in a room, on the ground, or inside a community. We’re seeing that play out more in regional markets than anywhere.

Through Talent Stable, the focus is less on “influencers” in the traditional sense, and more on building partnerships with people who can operate across campaigns, events, industry conversations and education and workshops. It’s a different way of thinking about influence. Less about exposure and more about proximity and relevance.

Like a lot of good things, c7even started as a conversation at a kitchen table about how things could be done differently for regional and rural Australia.

With experience across both in-house and agency roles, Adam and Sara saw a gap. So they built something of their own, a marketing and communications agency shaped by the communities it works alongside.

Over the years, there’s been growth, setbacks, big wins, and plenty of learning along the way.

Now, more than a decade on, c7even has grown beyond where it started, working across Australia and expanding into international markets with the launch of c7even Japan.

Over the past few weeks, c7even has supported the ICPA Aust - Isolated Children's Parents' Association (ICPA) in driving national attention towards the realities facing geographically isolated families across Australia.

The coverage comes as ICPA representatives travelled to Canberra to advocate for greater support for rural and remote families, including appearing before the Senate Inquiry into the proposed Universal Outdoor Mobile Obligation (UOMO) legislation alongside organisations including the National Farmers’ Federation and National Rural Health Alliance.

From unpaid labour in the home classroom, to the growing digital divide impacting isolated communities, ICPA’s advocacy continues to place lived experience at the centre of important national conversations.

Across just three weeks, the campaign generated 139 pieces of earned coverage to date, and counting! Helping to ensure the voices of rural and remote families continue to be heard within broader policy and public discussions.
