𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
Most pages assume visitors know who they're for. This one was unclear whether it targeted busy mums or male professionals.

You've got 3 seconds to communicate:
→ Who is this for?
→ Why should I care?
→ Why should I listen to you?

Miss this, and people bounce.

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸
Showing $27 down from $145 isn't terrible, but it's not strategic.

Instead? Introduce a high-intent option first:

"Book a 1:1 stress recovery session at $350"
OR "Download my recovery toolkit for $27"

By showing both, the $27 offer looks like a steal.

That's proper anchoring.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲-𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻
Your page should be:
→ 40% emotion (fears, aspirations, desires)
→ 40% evidence (testimonials, social proof, data)
→ 20% logic (features, what's included)

This page was 60% logic, 30% emotion, 10% evidence.
This imbalance was hurting conversions.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴
"I'm a published author and coach" means nothing without proof.

But "I worked in IT for 20 years, experienced multiple burnouts, and built a system to overcome them"?

That hits differently.

People buy from people who understand their pain.
Share yours.

The result?

Stop selling TO your customers.

Start building WITH them.

Betty Crocker's instant cake mix should have been perfect. Just add water and bake. Instead it flopped because it was too easy. Customers felt like they were cheating.

The solution? Add one egg to the recipe. Sales skyrocketed overnight.

This is the IKEA Effect in action. We value things more when we help build them. Effort creates ownership. Ownership creates loyalty.

Ask yourself:

→ Can customers genuinely shape the end result?
→ Do they feel ownership and pride in the outcome?

Most marketers sell to the wrong people.

That mistake costs revenue. Every. Single. Month.

Here’s the reality:
→ 90% of your audience consumes
→ 10% actually converts

And the top 1%?

They control 15% of the total buying power in your audience

You’re not building a brand for everyone.

You’re building trust with the few ready to pay.

→ Give value to the masses.
→ Sell premium to the top 10%.
→ Ignore the noise in the middle.

Mass reach doesn’t build profit. Precision does. 🎯

Everything you knew about pricing is 100% WRONG (+a good example)

Imagine you’re at the movies.

You see two popcorn sizes:
→ Small for $5
→ Large for $10

Most people pick the small one—because $10 feels too expensive.

Now, the cinema adds a medium size for $9.

Suddenly, the large popcorn seems like the best deal, and most people pick it.

This is the decoy effect in action. The medium option exists only to push you toward the large size.

Brands use this psychological trick all the time:
✅ Subscription plans
✅ SaaS pricing tiers
✅ Retail product bundles

When done right, it nudges customers toward the option that benefits the business most—without them realizing it.

But customers still won’t switch.

Why? Loss aversion.

People feel the pain of change twice as much as the joy of gain.

So instead of selling “better,” sell safer:

💡 Lower the friction → Offer trials, guarantees, or step-by-step transitions.
💡 Use FOMO → Show what they’re missing out on, not just what they’ll gain.
💡 Leverage defaults → Make switching feel automatic, not a big decision.

Want to win? Don’t just sell the upside—eliminate the downside.

🚨 Weakened messaging – If everything is important, nothing is.
🚨 Decision paralysis – More complexity = more fear of making the wrong choice.
