Can we talk about AI for a second? Because everyone's having the conversation, but almost no one is talking about the part that actually matters.
I use AI every single day and I genuinely love it. I encourage my clients to use it too. It saves time, builds better systems, and makes scaling a whole lot more sustainable.
But there still needs to be a human behind it.
Because people don't build trust with robots. They build trust with people. Your audience connects with your story, your values, your perspective, and the way you make them feel understood. That's the part no software can replicate.
And if your content sounds exactly like everyone else using the same prompts? You're not building a brand. You're disappearing into noise.
The businesses that stand out moving forward aren't the ones using the most AI. They're the ones using it strategically while still sounding deeply, unmistakably human.

Today is World Fibromyalgia Awareness Day.

I was 16 when I was diagnosed. Months of chronic pain. Months of doctors not knowing what was wrong with me. And a lot of sitting in rooms feeling like maybe it was all in my head.

It wasn't.

Fibromyalgia is real. The pain is real. The exhaustion is real. The brain fog is real. And the dismissal — from medical professionals, from systems that weren't built to understand invisible illness — is something thousands of people are still navigating every single day.

Mine has evolved over the years. The way it lives in my body has changed. But the experience of having to advocate for yourself, of being believed, of being seen — that part hasn't changed as much as it should.

If you live with fibromyalgia, or love someone who does — I see you. Today especially.

And if you're just learning what it is — thank you for staying to read this. Awareness starts with one person choosing to understand.

Today wasn't one I was looking forward to, but I was reminded of the beautiful people I have around me.

To all the mums out there, both who have their babies with them, and the ones who have an empty spot in their arms.
I see you, and I think of you today.
You are a superwoman.

To all the wonderful women battling infertility, please know you're not alone, and I know days like this aren't easy. You are so strong.

His name was Walter Seccombe Ewin.
A man from a small regional community. A name that most people outside that town would never know.
He landed at Gallipoli on April 25th.
This ANZAC Day, I heard his story — and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. Not because it was extraordinary in the way we expect war stories to be. But because it almost wasn't told at all.
And that's the thing about stories.
They don't have to be loud to matter. They don't have to be polished, perfectly packaged, or designed for a wide audience. They just have to be real.
Walter's story mattered. It still does.
So does yours.
You don't need a dramatic origin or a headline moment to start sharing who you are. You just need the willingness to say — this happened, and it shaped me.
Stories can be anything. They can be a quiet act of courage. A business born from heartbreak. A turning point no one saw coming.
What I know for certain is this: the stories that stay untold are the ones the world needed most.
