We recently completed a 12 part series for Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise showcasing the impact of its AgriEmerging Markets Program 2025.

⛈️ Shooting in all conditions including summer storms and scorching heat!

We particularly loved meeting the participants and hearing how their involvement in the project had helped grow their confidence and look to the future, as they build something for the next generation 🌱

Meet Dr Katie Broughton, a research scientist with CSIRO who’s helping shape the future of Australian cotton.

We had the privilege of filming with Katie ahead of last year’s Cotton Australia Industry Awards, where she was a finalist for Cotton Seed Distributors Researcher of the Year.

Katie’s work focuses on the impacts of climate change and developing sustainable, practical solutions for growers, improving yield and resilience through innovative plant science.
