It was a bright and early start for Brendan and Ella yesterday, who joined the Farm Angels team at Blanch’s Farm (Lower Mount Walker) to show support during a live TV segment with Sunrise!

With the first live cross scheduled at 5:30 am, the group of supporters braved the early morning chill to show their support for the fourth annual ‘Flanno For A Farmer’ day.

Naturally, the official dress code was strictly flannos, and the crowd brought all the big energy (and plenty of early morning coffee ☕) during each segment, hosted by Channel 7's Sam Mac. It was well worth the early start, and we are thrilled to see the campaign getting such great exposure across the country.

Big thank you to the Blanch family who generously welcomed everyone onto their dairy farm (mid morning milking) to shine a light on this fantastic cause 🤠🐮

🪽🧑‍🌾 Tomorrow’s the big day! August 14 is ‘Flanno For A Farmer’ day - all over the country, Australians will don their favourite flanno to show support for some of our hardest working families.

The CoBright team have joined the campaign once again, and shared some fantastic photos of their new kit. From our Toowoomba office (Tayla, Caitlin, Brendan, Gareth, Ella), to the Whitsundays (Misty), the EKKA (Joel), and as far south as central Victoria (Anna), our flannos are being worn with pride.

This morning our Director Brendan attended the 2026 Royal Queensland Show Breakfast, featuring the annual Malcolm McCosker Memorial Address. Industry icon Terry Nolan of Nolan Meats was on the podium this year, sharing the wisdom earned after 60 years in the beef industry 🥩

Besides his contribution to one of Australia’s most successful agribusinesses, Terry has helped shape national policy, championed Australian producers, and supported the development of the export industry.

Terry’s core message was profound: no matter what technology we rely on, successful business is about people, curiosity and a can-do attitude.

Brendan enjoyed this opportunity to connect with leaders shaping the future of Queensland agriculture – we’re fortunate to be part of such a driven and innovative industry 🌱

NUTRAMIX SITE VISIT // This week Tayla, Gareth, and Brendan visited a new client based in Warwick. This wasn’t just a road trip - we have officially commenced our new website project with Nutramix! It was fantastic to see the site first hand and get to spend some time with the people behind the brand 🌾💻

This gave us the opportunity to collect content, learn more about the business operations, and set some foundations for what will become their new digital platform.

We’re proud to partner with Nutramix in this chapter of their digital journey.

This week, our Director Brendan was fortunate to attend the Rural Press Club Queensland's luncheon event with keynote speaker Rob McGavin. Co-founder of Cobram Estate olive oil, Rob was raised near Barcaldine, and shared his wisdom as business owner and rural leader with the audience.

From humble beginnings, Cobram Estate now produces 80% of Australia’s olive oil on just 20% of the total area planted. The business has recently expanded into the US, and is keenly focused on growing sustainably for many years to come.

Rob’s candour and insight into the future of Australian agriculture was refreshing and sincere, and Brendan (along with all guests in attendance) was chuffed to receive a bottle of Cobram Estate’s finest as a memento of the event.

We are fortunate to have such inspiring and experienced leaders in the industry, and enjoy opportunities like these to connect with other agricultural professionals.
