Some campaigns are designed to be seen.

This one was designed to be felt, understood and acted on.

Over the past fortnight, we’ve been proud to see our campaign for Darling Downs Diagnostic Breast Clinic come to life, a new symptom-first led breast clinic in Toowoomba created to help women access support sooner, understand their options and feel more confident taking action when something doesn’t feel right.

From the beginning, this campaign needed to do more than build awareness.

It needed to create trust in a sensitive space.

It needed to make complex medical information feel clear and approachable.

It needed to speak to women with care, not fear.

And it needed to move quickly, with a full campaign ecosystem brought together in a short lead time.

RSM led the strategy, messaging and campaign rollout, developing an emotion-led creative direction supported by educational content, website development in collaboration with Hello Hudson, paid media, billboards, organic social and real-world activations.

In collaboration with Helios Agency, we developed Through Her Eyes - a campaign centred on daughters speaking directly to their mums, gently reminding them why their health matters.

The result is a campaign that feels human, purposeful and deeply local, while still delivering a clear and important message:

If something doesn’t feel right, don’t wait.

Round Square Marketing is proud to have curated this campaign from strategy through to ex*****on.

Have you seen Through Her Eyes around Toowoomba?

EOFY is the time to look ahead, not just wrap up.

As you plan your 2027 marketing budget, one of the biggest questions to ask is: what role does marketing need to play in your growth?

For many established businesses, a general starting point is 5–10% of revenue allocated to marketing. But the real value comes from how that budget is divided.

Strategy.
Brand.
Content.
Website.
SEO.
Email marketing.
Paid ads.
Reporting.

Each should work together, not compete for scraps.

The strongest marketing budgets are not always the biggest. They are the clearest.
Before locking in your 2027 spend, ask:

What are we trying to achieve?
Where will marketing create the most value?
And are we investing enough to get there?

A huge congratulations to our long-standing client, Super Rooster, on being named home of Queensland’s Best Burger. 🍔

For Toowoomba locals, this probably comes as no surprise. Super Rooster is more than a takeaway shop, it’s a local institution built on quality, consistency, community, and food people genuinely love.

We’re proud to work alongside the Super Rooster team to help bring their brand personality to life online, from cheeky social content to campaigns that celebrate what makes them such an iconic part of Toowoomba.

This win is a testament to the team behind the counter, the loyal customers who keep showing up, and the unmistakable Super Rooster flavour that has stood the test of time.

Congratulations, Super Rooster. Very well deserved.

Twelve months ago, I hired a business coach. Not because I was failing, but because I refuse to get stale.

At the time, it was about future proofing the business, staying sharp, understanding the numbers better and being pushed harder on process and performance. Let’s face it, it is easy to do the same thing over and over - pretty sure it’s called the hamster wheel.

Over the past year, working with Chris Black from .au has been invaluable and has challenged me in all the right ways. Chris has a way of holding the mirror up, whether you are ready for it or not.

And yes, there have definitely been moments where I could have punched him in the face. Joking - he is too pretty for that. 😝

But that is the point, right? Growth is not meant to feel comfortable all the time.

Earlier this year, we also purchased our own office, which was a huge milestone for Round Square Marketing. But what I have learned is that milestones like that do not happen by accident. They happen when you make better decisions, understand your numbers, surround yourself with the right people and keep asking the hard questions.

A big part of the past year has also been having Annie, our General Manager, attend business coaching with me. Because as the business grows, it cannot just sit in my head. We need to be aligned, challenged and accountable together. Having someone beside me who understands the business, challenges my thinking and helps lead the team has made such a difference.

One of my favourite sayings is, you only know what you know. And sometimes, you need help to see what you do not.

At 42, I have started looking at life and business differently. I think it is called getting old. I am more aware of where my energy goes, what I am building and how important it is to keep evolving, not just as a business owner, but as a human too.

This was never just about building a better business. It was about becoming a better leader, making better decisions, developing our team and being more accountable along the way.

Growth is not always comfortable, but neither is staying the same.

Over the past year, working with Chris Black from Purpa has been invaluable and has challenged me in all the right ways. Chris has a way of holding the mirror up, whether you are ready for it or not.

Funny content works when it understands the audience.

For one of our hospitality clients, we created a simple, relatable reel filmed on an iphone.

No heavy production.

No over-polished brand piece.

Just a clear idea and the kind of humour people actually want to send to their friends.

The result?

6.9k likes
9.7% share rate

All for an account with under 3k followers.

For context, in tourism and hospitality, a share rate of 1.5% is considered great, one of 3.5% or higher is a strong indicator of viral content.

This reel more than tripled that benchmark.

Why does that matter?

Because shares mean the audience is helping distribute the content. More reach. More eyes on the brand. More people engaging with the business.

Polished brand content still has an important role to play. But sometimes, the best-performing content is the everyday, iPhone-style idea that feels familiar, funny and easy to share.

Strong content does not always need to look expensive.

It needs to connect.

Marketing can feel overwhelming.

Websites, social media, content, campaigns, SEO, ads, print, strategy.

It can be hard to know what matters, what to prioritise, or where to start.

That’s where we come in.

At RSM, our job is to help you understand what marketing means for your business, not just what everyone else is doing.

You don’t have to know it all.

You just need the right team around you to help make sense of it, build the right foundations and keep things moving in the right direction.

With a team of six dedicated to strategy, content, creative, websites and campaign delivery, we’re here to help you navigate your marketing with more clarity and confidence.

Good content looks effortless when the planning behind it is strong.

For Appian Civil, that meant a coordinated full-day 12 hour shoot capturing the team, equipment and work in action - building a professional image library to support their website, print materials and broader brand presence.

Lauren Hope swapped the heels for hi-vis to coordinate the shoot across 8 different locations.

Need content that feels less last-minute and more intentional?
That is where we come in.

We can’t wait to see this one go live.

Post the update.

Publish the blog.

Book the shoot, even if you aren't feeling camera ready.

Because while you are waiting for “one day”, your competitors could already be showing up, building trust and staying front of mind.

You do not need to do everything perfectly.

You just need to start with purpose and keep moving.

Need help getting started?

Think of us as the marketing partner who keeps the plan moving, the content flowing and the momentum on track.
