Nature’s socks 🧦

Flanagan Reserve, located in South Queensland, was a beautiful little getaway with lots of beautiful walks to do around the area!

I thoroughly enjoyed trudging through the knee deep mud, one of the highlights of the river walk for sure 😁🤩

What are your top 3 qualities you aspire to live by?

Mine, although always changing and developing as I grow, are respect, humility and courage.
Honesty, I feel, is one of the top qualities any human can ever display. So why you may ask, is it not in my top three?
This is because I feel that if you display respect through all your actions, you display humility through all your decisions, and you display courage toward yourself day in day out, honestly is simply the bi-product.

When wanting to grow and become a better person, you must first know clearly what the morals and values that the person you want to be displays on a daily basis.

Absolute must visit when driving through North Queensland!
Frosty mango is home of the very well known INCREDIBLE home made ice cream 😍

Made with fresh fruits and ingredients, it’s a regular event for the lucky locals. Also there’s an awesome giant mango out the front 😎

Happy Monday all!

Sitting on the grass under a tree has got to be one of my favourite things to do (only problem being I happen to be allergic to grass so I am usually itchy for the next few hours 😅).

Connecting to Earth every day is extremely beneficial for your health across all areas (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual).
Try to make this a part of your routine every day and you will notice huge health benefits! 😊🦋

Consistency, consistency, consistency!!!

The idea of consistency can sometimes feel very trapping for me, who else can relate to this?
A commitment that I have to make to myself EVERY single day?! The thought can sometimes become so daunting that it’s the very confronting thought that stops me.

How crazy is that?!

But the most beautiful part about consistency is that showing up is what is the key.
The other day I went to the gym and 30 minutes in I wasn’t feeling great, I felt my self talk becoming very negative. So I put a smile on my face and walked out of that gym!! For me this is huge because I have a tendency to oversee my quality of life for what “I should do at the time if I want to be better”.

But by walking out of that door I was telling myself ‘Bri you still showed up and you will continue to show up in the future, with no resentment, because you have got your back!’

What matters is that YOU SHOWED UP. Forget the rest, with the right intentions everything else will fall into place! 🥰

How magical is the trunk of a tree! 😍

Nature is so incredible. It is so easy to take a walk through the woods and be so caught up in your own thoughts you miss all the magical things that surround you. Trees quite literally enable us life on this planet, without them, breathing would be impossible.
So next time you take a walk, stop and take a minute to express your gratitude to the tree you just walked past that enables your awesome life! 👊

This hike is so gorgeous, located north of Townsville, right in the hills past a tonne of pineapple farms.
On a hot day (which is.. basically.. everyday) it’s super cool to venture through the base of the hike to all the lovely little water holes for some refreshing swims ☀️

The best bit? No service!!! 😜🤩

📍 Crystal Cascades, Cairns

You guys, this beautiful little area of the world was absolutely unbelievable!!
After embarking on a side trail, it was mega fun spending the next hour literally crawling our way up and down a somewhat vertical slope 😋✌️

If you ever take a trip to Crystal Cascades, be warned that the trail to the left is not for the faint hearted! 😁
