Tradies. Farmers. Mechanics. Operators. Drivers. Builders.
Blue-collar workers are some of the toughest people you’ll ever meet.
They’re also some of the least likely to put their hand up and say they’re struggling.
As Aussies we’re good at talking about the job, the weather, the footy, the next project, and what broke this week. We’re not always so good at talking about what’s going on between our ears.
That’s part of why organisations like TIACS are so important.
They provide free, professional mental health support to tradies, farmers and blue-collar workers, helping people get the support they need before things reach breaking point.
This upcoming event is about starting conversations, breaking down stigma, and reminding people that asking for help isn’t weakness — it’s strength.
If you’ve got a mate who’s always the first one to lend a hand but never asks for one, invite them along.
If you’ve been meaning to check in on someone, send the message.
And if you’re carrying more than you’re letting on, know that you’re not alone.
