On 7 May, we officially launched the Building & Construction Foundation Trade Network.
The evening brought together people from across the building & construction industry for connection, conversation & shared purpose, & it showed exactly why the Trade Network is such an important part of how the Foundation creates impact.
The Trade Network connects trades, subcontractors, suppliers, builders, consultants, employers & industry supporters who want to help create pathways into construction for people facing financial hardship, intersectional barriers & other forms of disadvantage.
Through mentoring, work experience, employment pathways, site visits, school & community outreach, donated goods & services, & practical industry connections, the Trade Network helps turn community goodwill into real opportunity.
On the night, we also shared impact stories that showed what is possible when industry gets behind people & communities.
