We made a trip up to Branyan Water Treatment Plant (Bundaberg) this week for Lybec Infrastructure Services to pressure test a couple of 600mm dosing lines that run up and into a large tank.
All involved with this large build were happy to see a pass ✅

What a week. Our guys were flat out all over the state again from Townsville to Toowoomba and a cross the bay to North Stradbroke Island.
Shane Devenny spent a very chilli day up at Toowoomba testing a 150mm water main for Stirloch Constructions at the Wetalla Water Reclamation facility.
He was glad to get the pass for Stirloch and get back to the Brisbane warmth.

We currently have Shane Fooks testing approximately 9km of 1800mm raw water pipeline for BMD Constructions up at Townsville. The BMD guys have done a great job on the construction of this pipeline and it will come up to test in the next coming days.

A truly inspiring generational family business, Peter Spring is the present patriarch of RT & DM Spring plumbing business with their two subsidiaries Drain-Cam and Pipeline Testing Services.

From humble beginnings, Peter’s parents started this family business over 53 years ago and with the help of his eldest son Aaron by his side and more recently his youngest Shaun, it has grown to a 3rd generation business with 21 staff.

What is amazing is that they were the first company in Qld to introduce the draincam (CCTV drain inspections) 👀 and started pipeline testing 🕵️‍♀️in 1998 servicing commercial and industrial clients such as the government and leading retailers. They are also the only NATA accredited plumber in Qld.

When Peter can drag himself away from work, he loves spending time with the family boating🛥, camping and fishing up and down our beautiful coast. No doubt he is eager, like all of us, for our testing times to revert back to some sense of normality.

Another part of our NATA Accreditation allows us to chlorinate water mains and collect water samples.
These samples are then taken to a laboratory for testing to make sure that the newly installed pipeline meets the drinking water guideline parameters.
Here Joel demonstrates good practice and procedure as this can be quite technical at times.
