I could probably tell you what stage of business someone’s in from their google search or chat history 😅 I want to say though that none of these are actually silly questions.
They’re all reasonable things to want to know, the problem is that each one gets asked on its own, usually at 11pm after you’ve battled the bath and bedtime routine and your youngest has gotten out of bed for the 3rd time in an hour and you can’t give Google enough context for it to be able to answer you the right way.
So you get some sort of answer, you add the app some random on Reddit suggests, you find the workaround, and it works…sort of…which is exactly why you go back and do it again next time.
Four years of that and you’ve got a business that runs, sure, but only if you’re the one running it 🤭
These also aren’t four separate problems to solve one at a time, it’s one problem wearing four different hats
So i’d like to know which one have you actually typed into Google or asked your chat bestie 🤖
I’ll admit I’ve done at least three of them for my own business, including the rebrand one before Storytold was born.
And yeah, you’re now wondering what actually answers it, it’s usually not a new website to begin.
It’s someone sitting down and mapping what’s really there first. Domains, logins, the tools you forgot you’re paying for, the spreadsheet holding two systems together.
That’s where I start now 🤎
