Firstly, Jules and Kirily would like to thank all our stall holders who have joined us this year, especially those who consistently show up 🖤
We also want to thank all our customers who have supported us over the last six months. Your support means everything to us and to our small business community.
We are down to our last three markets for 2025.
This year has definitely thrown us some challenges — unpredictable weather, last-minute cancellations, competing markets (there are so many these days!), new metaphysical shops opening, and shopping centre pop-ups drawing people in.
But despite all of that, we’ve done amazingly well since starting in May 2025, and we are so proud of how far Mystic Journey & This ‘n’ That Markets have come.
Lately we’ve seen many posts across various groups about foot traffic, stall costs, refund policies, and slow spending — and that’s exactly why we keep our stallholder fees as low as possible and why our markets run every 3 weeks for consistency.
We know we’re not the biggest or most well-known market in the Moreton Bay area (yet), but we work incredibly hard behind the scenes to build our name, promote the markets, and keep things running smoothly.
But we can’t do it alone. Stallholders play a huge part too — promoting their business, sharing where they will be, and helping grow the community reach.
Yes, times are tough and people aren’t spending the way they used to.
But that shouldn’t stop stallholders from showing up, showcasing their creations, and connecting with customers. Even if they don’t buy on the day, a genuine conversation, a welcoming smile, and a memorable interaction often bring them back next time. Word of mouth is powerful, and positive experiences travel far.
Consistency matters. Showing up matters.
It’s how customers remember you, and it’s how small markets grow into strong, well-attended ones.
Market life isn’t a “get rich quick” scene — and while we cannot guarantee weather or customer numbers, we can guarantee that we will always show up, support our stallholders, and work hard to build something special in our community.
So instead of waiting 4–6 weeks for the bigger markets, come join us every 3 weeks —
you might be surprised by what (and who) you find.
