Ok so I have an update that I’m sure all of you will be ecstatic about!! Under the Covid rules & health orders & blah blah blah…I’m now able to open on Monday morning!! So will see you Monday now!! X

TO MY DEAREST CHATZ CAFÉ CUSTOMERS
So I’m assuming you all haven’t had a coffee since August 5th which was our last day of trade before lockdown…because I know none of you would be coffeeing around on me…except for you Sue Hanson!!
But today I’m going to announce some good news & bad news!! As we’re all aware…we come out of lockdown on Monday 11 October so therefore the long awaited return of Genetics opening up again for the fully vaccinated is surely the good news!! But the bad news is…some may say it’s good…that the long awaited return of Chatz Café is not going to happen until Thursday 14 October!! This is due to me needing to be double vaccinated before I return…with my 2nd dose not happening till Wednesday.
I know you’re all thinking…”why wouldn’t she get her s**t together & organise that sooner!!” Well you’re right!! And the answer is I don’t know!
But!!…I can’t wait to see you all again on Thursday 14 October & look forward to making you all your favourite coffees!!

To my dearest loyal Chatz Café customers.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your kind messages, your support & your sympathy for Bryan, Max, Eden & myself. We do really appreciate it & know that it comes whole heartedly.

I know Elise & Katharine will be looking after you all & continue to make you all 5 star rated coffee from our 5 star rated café. (Well technically 4.9 star but we’ll just round it up)!

Thank you to Laurie Bird & the Vets for the beautiful flowers that you sent, they’re absolutely stunning.

So we’re into day 11 of our 14 day quarantine in Auckland & we all haven’t killed each other....yet!! We have our last corona test today which is not very pleasant at all. We fly to Christchurch on Monday night which we’re all looking forward to spending time with our family.

We are booked to come back November 12 so I will be back in at the café on Friday, November 13 and look forward to catching up with you all then.

Hey Guys!! Hope you are all staying safe & well & getting your coffee fix during this crazy time!! I really miss making all your coffees... except yours Martin Rees...but hopefully we’ll be back sooner rather than later to have us all back together again at Genetics Fitness Club!!
Just an announcement if anyone is interested...I will be in the gym from 9am on Thursday morning (2nd April), if anyone is interested in purchasing some Brookfarm Muesli or Granola?? I normally have them priced at $26 a bag but going to sell them off at $20 each. They have heaps of shelf life on them just don’t know when we’ll be open again that’s all!! Happy to do deliveries for people who would like a bag but can’t get in there on Thursday!! I can also order coffee as well if anybody wants their regular order & again can deliver. Just let me know by replying.
