Which one do you prefer: Desk 1 or Desk 2?

I’d much prefer Desk 1, where I can take my laptop and enjoy my work anywhere I want, which would almost always be at the beach or with a close-range view of the beach.

One of the best pieces of advice I’ve heard is from Jim Rohn: “If you will change, everything will change for you. To have more, you have to be more. Don’t wish for fewer problems; wish for more skills. Start working on yourself to make personal changes that will change your life.”

I wouldn't have it any other way...

What a busy working week and an even busier weekend. From housework, to grocery shopping, taking my daughter to her friend's birthday sleepover which was a 3hr round trip drive, and cooking, then picking her up again, resting for an hour then going to her dance eisteddfod which went for 4.5 hours. But there were lots of smiles, hugs, laughter, cheeky grins and a long hug from my daughter, letting me know she appreciates all my effort as a dance mum 🥰

Grateful for getting home safely after a busy day: from my 9-5 to picking up my boy from childcare, and then heading to my daughter's after-school dance lessons. Working my way to having the life we desire and that my kids deserve.

I'm grateful for being a part of a company that spends money for their staff to be at our annual work conference with all expenses paid for, to learn about their strategic plan, get to know other staff from other states, enjoy team bonding activities and fine dining meals and alcohol plus a fun costume party where I won $100 for best dressed female. 🏨

However, I'm still working for them. My income is capped to their set rates and bonuses or pay rise. My hours are pretty set to 9-5 and sometimes beyond when I'm working from home. I have to travel 3 hours daily to get to and from work. I can't just go on holidays anytime I want. I am not free... and I want to be. 🏖

So, I am doing my best now to get my business going so I can be time and financially free to be with my kids whenever and wherever I want doing whatever and whomever we want to be with. I'm grateful for being given this chance to start being an online business owner. 🙏
