Love a wearable design and love working with the Newport Folk Festival Australia each year to brand their festival. A combo of both things I love - design and music.

All set for this year's festival - the T shirt has the dates: Friday night 26 and Saturday 27 June. See you there! Tks Megan Slattery for your art work.

The bonus about designing for local clients is getting to see your work out in the community, and at the moment it’s two-fold with signs for both the and the Newport Folk Festival Australia side by side.

I've loved assisting the team at My Creative Box for several years, helping create activities to include in their art boxes for children. This one being the packaging and tube graphics for a 'Munching Caterpillar' game.

Created this bauhaus-inspired graphic to brand the 2023 Williamstown Literary Festival as they celebrate 20 years of bringing readers, writers and book creatives of all sorts together.

Love seeing its punchy colours popping up around the community all ready for this weekend’s Festival!

Most recently worked with Hobsons Bay City Council’s Arts and Culture team to brand this interesting contemporary art exhibition that pays homage to artist Agnes Dene. This graphic being inspired by Agnes’ original planning drawings for her ‘A Forest for Australia’ artwork.

The ‘Dear Agnes,’ exhibition’s works are on display for the next 3 weekends as well as public workshops, live music and artist talks. All set in the beautiful buildings and grounds of the historic Truganina Explosives Reserve Altona.

'Dear Agnes' is a contemporary public art program that features site-responsive works by 12 artists and collectives over three weeks at the Truganina Explosives Reserve, Altona during March 2023.

Great to be back designing for events this year and this one provided a challenge. How to convey in one visual an event that will showcase industrial fashion and a live concert of songs inspired by Melbourne's industrial west AND being performed at sunset in and amongst vintage locomotives and train carriages?

To my friends in the west and those further afield, I invite you to come along, and check this unique show out on 11 & 12 November at 7.30pm.

INDUSTRIAL FASHION AND LIVE ORIGINAL MUSIC IN A TRAIN TRACK WONDERLAND.

Join us at sunset on the lawns of the Newport Railway Museum as it transforms into a unique performance site. Walk into a wonderland of locomotives and heritage train carriages, to discover industrial fashion inspired by iconic places in Melbourne’s west.

Wander into an undercover area between two magnificent, Newport-built, steam locomotives, take a seat and watch a cabaret of live original songs performed by the musicians who wrote them including Rusty Berther (ex-Scared Weird Little Guys) and Peter Farnan (Boom Crash Opera). Hear ballads, comedy and rock anthems bring rich industrial histories and unexplored stories to life.

'Cabaret Amongst the Carriages' takes you on an entertaining and insightful journey, exploring characters and places that give the western suburbs of Melbourne its unique history and flavour.

2 NIGHTS ONLY!
11 & 12 November 7.30pm
Newport Railway Museum, 26 Champion Road, Newport
Tickets $35/$30

Here’s an interesting project I’m part of. Looking for anyone who might like to share their historical stories about the Spotswood and South Kingsville areas in Melbourne. See below for the link for more info.

Help reveal Hidden Histories of Spotswood and South Kingsville.

Local creatives Donna Jackson and Megan Slattery will be running 3 workshops later this month and early May to gather stories about Spotswood and South Kingsville before they're lost.
