Tips for this bumpy time of semester ⬇⬇

As end of semester gets closer so does all of those big assignments that we've been putting off and those scary exams 😰

Here is how you can take care of yourself during the end of semester:

🟣Take some time for yourself
Binge watch your favourite show📺, read a book📖 or do one of your favourite things that brings you some relief and joy during the stress. Don't burn yourself out!

🟣Hang out with friends and family
Take some time to be around some friends or family to get your mind off assignments 👯‍♀️

🟣Go for a walk 🚶‍♂️
Get outside for a little bit so you can come back to your work with a clear mind 🧠

🟣Make a list and schedule 🗒✏️
If the workload is getting a bit too much, take some time to write down a list of each step that you have to do for the assignments so you have a clear guide of what you have to do. Then make a schedule so you know when you should do each step so you can hand it in on time!

🟣Reach out for help if you need it
Reach out to your tutors if you have any questions or classmates if you think it is something they can help you with. Or maybe you just want to rant about an assignment to another student (collectively ranting always makes things feel better 😉).
❗️Don't forget that UOW also has a great range of student support services

🟣Last (and not least), reward yourself!
Did you finish a difficult part of the assignment? Teat yourself to a movie night 🎥 Did you finally finish your assignment? Go buy your favourite meal for dinner 🍝!
Whether the achievement is big or small, try to reward yourself because you deserve it 👏

Our final exec to be introduced is Ngan, our outreach coordinator! 🎉

You may recognise Ngan as she was part of the previous team as the event coordinator but has now taken on a new role! 😊

She is studying a Bachelor of Comms and Media with a major in Marketing 📚but when she isn't at uni you might find her baking some of her delicious treats! 🍰

We are so happy to have Ngan be part of the team again 💜
