𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲

In our previous post, we (Sam and Andrew) shared why The Solution Space exists—and how that “why” has shaped our vision, strategy, and direction.

Because passion is at the heart of what we do, we knew we needed clarity on our 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲, 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀—not just to guide our decision-making, but to protect us from getting pigeonholed in a crowded market, especially as a brand-new business.

So, with the help of from Leadership Creativity, we took the time to define these foundational elements. We knew they’d help us stand out—not just by what we do, but how we do it differently.

In a sea of competitors, we’re not aiming to be another ship. We're charting a new course, on a different sea — one where fewer vessels sail because the waters are ours to explore through unique offerings that may not yet exist and an intent to do things very differently.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽 — 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝘂𝗿 “𝗪𝗵𝘆”

Although we had planned to be in business down the track, The Solution Space was somewhat born out of a steaming blend of urgency and opportunity. A redundancy, emerging gaps in the digital signage space, and strong pipelines forced us to make a bold decision — to jump headfirst into the unknown and achieve the seemingly impossible.

But rather than building the business 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 those opportunities, we (Sam and Andrew) decided to pause and do something different.

We organised a workshop with Craig Morris from 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘊𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 and asked ourselves one foundational question:

“𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀?”

We believed that by clearly defining our 𝗪𝗵𝘆, we could shape our Purpose, Vision, and Values — and that this would influence our pursuits, focus, and partnerships going forward.

And so, our “Why” became this:

“𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙗𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨.”

In short, we do what we do — and do it well — not for any other reason than because we’re genuinely passionate - About our people, our customers, our solutions, and our community. And we’re intentional about working with those who feel the same.

Yes, money matters — but for us, it’s a biproduct of passion, not the driver of it. We know every business has a different origin story.

Some begin by accident. Others by necessity.

Starting this business has been a journey unlike any other—one filled with challenges, growth, and a deep dive into the complexities of the industry I’m striving to transform. The more I’ve learned, the clearer it has become that real change requires more than just great ideas—it demands strategic partnerships, trust, and the ability to deliver truly holistic, reliable solutions.

Over the past few months, I’ve dedicated myself to building the relationships, collaborations, and frameworks necessary to create impactful solutions—ones that are not only needed locally but also have the potential to make a difference on a global scale.

And now, I’m excited to say: the story is just beginning.

Today marks 2 months since the launch event of The Solution Space! I wanted to thank everyone who attended and made the event a success.
