We are very happy to have recently installed our brand new Roland Print + Cut Machine with quicker printing speeds, faster drying times and a wider colour gamut with our new orange and green inks!

Kwikstripe are stoked to be one of the first customers in South Australia to install a new TrueVIS XG-640. After running a PRO4 XR-640 for over almost 10 years, the new XG-640 is the perfect upgrade for this busy signage business. Well done guys!

Kwikstripe Sign Shop are looking to hire….

We are a long-established, small but busy, family owned and operated business based in Adelaide’s western suburbs looking to take on several staff to help us service our existing & expanding client base.

We have a wide range of work ranging from pack and send wedding signs to safety stickers to hard signage through to wrapping tanker trucks. We specialise in heavy industry and vehicle signage such as trucks, excavators, heavy machinery and fleet vehicles.

We have multiple positions available- preferably full-time, but part-time, casual and contracting options would be considered depending on skill-sets, experience and availability.

Our priority is to take on 1-2 genuine, versatile, experienced signage all-rounders, ideally with experience in all facets of a signs shop, from design through to installation.

We understand that this is very rare/hard to find in these times, so would consider taking on less experienced applicants to carry out tasks including; client liaison, site surveys, design and pre-production, production tasks of operating print/ cut / laminating machinery and bench-work.

Installer(s) would also be required, particularly someone with wide ranging experience from carrying out site survey and measure-ups, installation of hard mounted signage, through to vehicle signage installation with wrap skills being an advantage.

Pay is above award rates, and we can be flexible in regards to work arrangements.

Kwikstripe signs are looking for a new team member – Woodville North, Adelaide, we need an experienced signage & production all-rounder to focus on production / pre-production. Primarily running wide-format printer(s), plotter & laminating, creating artwork for production & client approval & in-house bench work. Artwork ranges from basic lettering to vehicle wrap designs.
Experience in installation is advantageous – particularly vehicle work with wrapping a great advantage.
This role is for an experienced and enthusiastic person. We’re looking for a flexible person capable of working solo and as a team. The role would be primarily in-house including installation of vehicle graphics at our workshop, and client sites when necessary.

Experience Required
* Experience in operating production of print, cut, finishing
*Computer signage-design software & sign production with proficiency in design software such as Signlab, Corel, Flexisign, Abobe Illustrator,or similar & RIP software (Roland an advantage)
* Efficient operation of wide-format printers & vinyl cutter
* Preparing print media, laminating, weeding vinyl, cutting and trimming
* Application of digital printing & computer cut signage to various substrates
* Sign manufacture, construction & installation of various types of signage especially vehicle signage
* Vehicle wrap experience would be advantageous

Required Attributes
* The ability to multi-task to run equipment whilst creating or assembling, etc
*Good communication & presentation skills for liaising with clients - by phone & face to face
* The ability to prepare work from photos & measurements, create mock-ups & production files
* The ability to work well within a team and alone
* A progressive, positive can-do attitude.
* Current driver’s license & manual vehicle capability
* A stable working history
* Physical capability of manual handling; installation including working at heights from ladders and elevated work platforms
* White card & EWP licences are an advantage
* The maturity & drive to work unsupervised, while maintaining safety & quality standards
Remuneration will be in accordance with industry practice and dependent on experience.
