- Everyone is obsessed with how fast AI can generate. But speed was never the hardest part of design 😂💁🏻‍♀️

The hard part is knowing:

* what deserves attention
* what feels generic
* what people trust
* what actually communicates
* what makes a brand memorable

AI can produce endless layouts.

But it still cannot:

* build taste
* understand cultural nuance
* create original thinking
* make strategic decisions
* understand human emotion beyond patterns

That’s why brands still pay designers. Not for software skills or pretty graphics but for clarity, positioning and perspective 💁🏻‍♀️

The best designers won’t compete with AI. They’ll use it better than everyone else.

What’s your take? Will AI replace designers, or only change the way they work?

- ’s Caribbean Tour was far more than a series of livestreams.

It became one of the largest measurable digital events in the history of the Caribbean.

Over the course of the tour, the region generated:

• 305.9M+ potential reach
• 165.8M+ cross-platform audience
• 16.6M+ engagements
• 208K+ comments
• 30.5K+ shares
• Tens of millions of livestream views across the globe

But perhaps most importantly, the tour demonstrated something much bigger. It showcased the Caribbean’s ability to command global digital attention at scale.

From Trinidad & Tobago to Grenada, from Saint Lucia to the Dominican Republic, the region became the center of online conversation in real time, generating massive engagement, viral moments, media coverage, and cross-island audience participation unlike anything previously documented at this scale.

The data also revealed a broader reality. Caribbean culture is not niche.
It is globally consumable, commercially powerful, and capable of driving worldwide internet conversation when amplified through modern digital ecosystems.

And of course, the numbers keep growing.

This project was created to serve as the definitive statistical record of IShowSpeed’s Caribbean tour and its impact across the region.

Data researched, compiled and analyzed in partnership with and .

The Bedroom Sketch That Became One of Social Media’s Most Famous Logos.

Evan Spiegel, the co-founder and CEO of Snapchat, famously designed the app’s iconic ghost mascot, "Ghostface Chillah," over the course of a single evening in his bedroom. Inspired by the Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah, the logo was created to represent the ephemeral nature of the platform’s disappearing messages. Spiegel opted for a ghost to symbolize that even though a photo might be gone, its spirit remains. Interestingly, he chose a vibrant yellow background specifically because no other major tech app at the time used the colour, ensuring Snapchat would stand out prominently on a user’s crowded home screen.

While the design was initially part of the app’s first iteration, Picaboo, it survived the rebrand to Snapchat and became one of the most recognisable symbols in social media. Originally, the ghost had a playful face with a sticking-out tongue, but it was later simplified to a solid white silhouette. This change was made to reflect the diverse range of emotions and personalities of the community, suggesting that the "ghost" represents the user themselves rather than a specific character.
