KISS - KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID

A big guy said: The programming language is for humans to understand, computers can only understand 0 1, so keep coding simple and straight, which should be easily understandable by human beings.

Keep your methods small, each method should never be more than 40-50 lines.

Each method should only solve one small problem, not many use cases. If you have a lot of conditions in the method, break these out into smaller methods. It will not only be easier to read and maintain but also can find bugs a lot faster.

অনেক কে বলতে শুনেছি যে, জীবন নাটকের চেয়ে বেশি নাটকীয়।

যেমনটা কেউ শেষ নিশ্চিত জেনেও শুরু করার চেষ্টা করে, আবার কেউ হারানোর ভয়ে নিজেকে আড়াল করে রাখে কখনো বুঝতে দেয় না মনের বারান্দায় দক্ষিণা বাতাসের মত করে ভেসে বেড়ানো কথাগুলো। হয়তো এই ভাবে একদিন হারিয়ে যাবে, বলা হয়ে উঠবে না সেই কথাগুলো, যে কথাগুলো একা পথের সঙ্গি হয়। এইটা যেমন একটি আবেগঘণ পেক্ষাপট, ঠিক একই রকম আরো নাটকিয়তায় ভরা বাস্তবতায় মোড়ানো অসংখ্য জীবন আমরা উপলদ্ধি করতে পারি আমদের চার-পাশে।

যেমনটা কয়েকটা উল্ল্যেখ করা যাক,

রাস্তায় হাঁটার সময় পথশিশুগুলোকে দেখলে আপনার মনে হবে যে, জীবন কত সংগ্রামের একটু বেঁচে থাকার অভিপ্রায়ে কত কি না করতে হচ্ছে। যে বয়সে আদর কিংবা ভালবাসায় সিক্ত হওয়ার কথা ঠিক সে বয়সে ক্ষুধা মেটানো আশায় কত তিরিস্কারের কিংবা লাঞ্ছনার সাক্ষি হতে হচ্ছে।
শত তিরিস্কার আর লাঞ্ছনার শিকার হতে হতে হয়তো সে একদিন দেশ এবং সভ্য সমাজের মানুষের চিন্তার কারণ হয়ে উঠবে। এইটাও একটা নিষ্পাপ থেকে ভয়ংকর হয়ে উঠার জীবন নাটকের দৃশ্য ।

আল্লাহ বলেছেন- ‘পুণ্যময় তিনি, যার হাতে রাজত্ব, তিনি সবকিছুর ওপর শক্তিমান। যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন মরণ ও জীবন, যাতে তোমাদের পরীক্ষা করেন তোমাদের মধ্যে কর্মে কে শ্রেষ্ঠ? তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, ক্ষমাময়।’ (সুরা মুলক : ১-২)

কখনো হাসপাতালে গেলে আপনার মনে হবে জীবনের সার্থকতা হয়তো বেঁচে থাকার মাঝে বিদ্যমান। একটু সুস্থ থাকার আশায় মানুষ কত চেষ্টাই বা না করছে। হাসপাতালের বেডে সুয়ে থাকা কত যে অসয্য কষ্টদায়ক তা যারা এই পরিস্তিতির সম্মুখিন হয়েছেন তারাই অনুমান করতে পারবেন।

এটি আরো একটি জীবন নাটকের দৃশ্য যে, কিভাবে সতেজ হাসি ফুটানো মুখে কষ্টের যন্ত্রণা ফুটে উঠে।

আল্লাহ বলেন- “অবশ্যই আমি তোমাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করব কিছুটা ভয়, ক্ষুধা, জান ও মালের ক্ষতি ও ফল-ফসল বিনষ্টের মাধ্যমে” (বাক্বারাহ ১৫৬)
