*Meet with clients to determine the scope of a project
*Advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience
*Determine the message the design should portray
*Create images that identify a product or convey a message
*Develop graphics and visual or audio images for product illustrations, logos, and websites
*Create a design by using computer software packages
*Select colors, images, text style, and layout
*Present the design to clients
*Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
*Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
Important Qualities
*Analytic skills: I am able to look at my work from the point of view of my consumers and examine how the designs i develop will be perceived by the consumer to ensure I convey the client’s desired message. Communication skills: I communicate with my clients and customers to ensure that my designs accurately reflect the desired message and effectively express information. Computer skills. As a graphic designer, I use specialized graphic design software to prepare my design and Presentation. ( MS PowerPoint, PREZI, Powtoon, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In-Design)
Creativity: I am able to think of new approaches to communicating ideas to consumers. I am developing unique designs that convey a recognizable meaning on behalf of my clients. Time-management skills: I often work on multiple projects at the same time, each with a different deadline.
