Sales funnel vs marketing funnel
Funnel? Which one? Sales funnel or marketing funnel or conversion funnel?
The funnel market has become quite active in recent times as the role of funnels behind some of the remarkable successes of online businesses has come to the fore.
On the other hand, some digital marketers and online businesses are trying to increase their business revenue by using funnels, but what is a funnel really? Which is a funnel, which is not a funnel, how many types of funnels are there? Which one to use when? There is absolutely no discussion or practice on these issues.
In fact, the funnel is a journey, a journey of a customer. He started this journey as a potential buyer and ended up becoming a full-fledged buyer. That is to say, the whole thing of his journey and the events of his journey through which he became a buyer is called a funnel.
And the marketing funnel is an approach that acts as a guide throughout the customer's journey; From the first meeting with the brand to the purchase of the customer's a product/service.
Building Awareness, Maintaining Interest, and Customer Evaluation.
A marketing fan has 2 parts:
One part of it is a lead generation and the other part is about nurturing the collected leads.
The lead generation section collects potential customer information through inbound marketing, content marketing, online ads, viral campaigns, or direct mail campaigns.
Through lead generation, a prospect comes in contact with the brand, starts learning about the brand, and creates interest in the brand.
This is when the effort to build potential customer relationships with brands at the lead nurturing level begins. There is a constant effort to build trust and engagement with email, newsletters, or free books. And customers start to know about the product or service.
As a result, some people become interested in the product or service. Some of them decide to buy immediately and most of them try to know and understand a little more before deciding to buy.
From the moment a person develops an interest in a product or service, the sales funnel leads that person to the advocacy stage.
Branding acquaintances with individuals through marketing funnels, building the kind of loyalty or relationship needed to buy a product or service, even if it is the beginning of a relationship, nurturing the relationship, building trust between individuals; "Nah! This is what I want, or that's what I'm going to do," Sales Funnel said.
Through the sales funnel, a comparative image of the brand is captured in front of the person through which the person can understand how the brand is compared to other brands. Where better? How good?
The person is then presented with some content that is a commitment from the brand to the person to solve his problem, which he decides to buy in the end. Used to expedite the decision to buy a free trial or demonstration.
At the end of the sales funnel but not here, then comes the turn of retention.
