The Municipal Association of Bangladesh (MAB), in partnership with the PRABRIDDHI-Local Economic Development (LED) project—funded by the governments of Bangladesh and Switzerland and co-implemented by the Local Government Division (LGD) and Swisscontact—organized a two-day Digital Capacity Building Training program for 46 municipal officials from various municipalities across Bangladesh. The training program was facilitated by Green Ink.

Green Ink, Prabriddhi team of Swisscontact and the Municipal Association of Bangladesh-MAB had a progress review meeting on Thursday, April 25, 2024, to Review the current state of the project to establish a Virtual Platform for the Municipal Association of Bangladesh.

Senior officials from Swiss contact, MAB and communication representatives from Green Ink were present at the review meeting to discuss about the current status of the project and explore strategies for enhancing the project approach.

We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of Professor Saleemul Huq, the renowned Bangladeshi climate change expert and the director of the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD). Professor Huq made significant contributions to the field of climate change research and advocacy, and his work has had a lasting impact on our understanding of this critical issue. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide the efforts to address climate change worldwide. Team Green Ink. had the opportunity to work with the legend we recently lost. This was one of the first documentary interviews with him!
