Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and PHP frameworks.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and integrate third-party services, including AI and LLM APIs.
- Design and implement AI-powered features using OpenAI or similar platforms.
- Work with LLM concepts such as embeddings, vector search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Use AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to generate, refactor, and optimize code efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with frontend teams (React) to deliver complete features.
- Debug, optimize, and improve existing systems for performance and reliability.
- Review code to ensure quality, security, and best practices.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
- Support deployment and CI/CD processes.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
1+ years of experience with Node.js and PHP frameworks (Laravel, CakePHP, Zend, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of Node.js, PHP, and familiarity with ReactJS and modern frontend workflows.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, or similar).
- Practical experience integrating OpenAI or other AI/ML services.
- Good understanding of LLMs, embeddings, and RAG-based architectures.
- Experience using AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) in daily development.
- Solid understanding of API integration (payments, maps, third-party services).
Familiarity with Linux environments, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile development and basic microservice concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills and clear English communication.
