Dorpon doesn’t confine itself to those activities only rather Dorpon arranges workshops in regular intervals, so that our fine arts students, artists & enthusiasts can benefit from the opportunity to mingle with the culture & art techniques outside of Asia. sher Ahmed & General Secretary Mr. Reaz Ahmed. Founded in 2013, this is Dorpon’s official first step towards bridging the gap between our artists & International artists. With this vision set as our goal, Dorpon will continue its efforts to take Bangladeshi art as well as its artists to the world’s arena. Dorpon believes that we are sitting over an artistic gold mine in Bangladesh but for the lack of opportunities we are yet to reap the rewards of our artistic endeavors. Though it is Dorpon’s first, we believe we are one of a kind in the sense that there are very few foundations that actually brought artist from outside of Asia. No matter how small, Dorpon holds this achievement with high regard. In future Dorpon will hold International symposiums in our country, Bangladesh. Dorpon wants to be & by the grace of The Omnipotent Allah, Insha'Allah, we will be the first to break our barriers and create a gathering of internationally profound artists from Europe as well as other continents.
