MCJ 8 had the honor of attending a special session on Current World Affairs conducted by the remarkable Prof. Rounaq Jahan, She is a distinguished Bangladeshi political scientist, author. She earned her PhD from Harvard University and served as a faculty member at Columbia University.

The session was arranged as part of our course Current World Affairs by Lecturer Israt Jahan Oishee Ma’am, who made it possible for us to learn directly from such a visionary scholar.

Rounaq Ma’am shared invaluable insights from her lifelong work in governance, and development, inspiring us to think critically about global and national issues. It was a truly enriching experience for all of us.

A heartfelt thank you to Prof. Rounaq Jahan for her time and wisdom, and sincere thanks to Oishee Ma’am for organizing such a remarkable session.
