ডাঃ খায়রুল ইসলাম (১৯৫৯ — অসীম)
ওয়াটারএইড দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার রিজিওনাল ডিরেক্টর ডাঃ খায়রুল ইসলামের আকস্মিক প্রয়াণে আমরা গভীরভাবে শোকাহত।
দীর্ঘ কর্মজীবনে বাংলাদেশের জনস্বাস্থ্য ও ওয়াশখাতের অগ্রযাত্রায় তাঁর অবদান ছিল অসামান্য। সদালাপ, প্রজ্ঞা, নেতৃত্ব, দূরদৃষ্টি ও দেশের প্রতি গভীর দায়বদ্ধতায় তিনি হয়ে উঠেছিলেন এই খাতের এক অনন্য পথপ্রদর্শক, এক প্রবাদপ্রতিম ব্যক্তিত্ব।
তাঁর চলে যাওয়া এক অপূরণীয় ক্ষতি। আমাদের কাছে তিনি ছিলেন একজন মেন্টর, একজন গাইড। তাঁর জ্ঞান, বিনয় ও নেতৃত্ব থেকে অসংখ্য মানুষ শিখেছেন, অনুপ্রাণিত হয়েছেন এবং নিজেদের পথ খুঁজে পেয়েছেন।
ডাঃ খায়রুল ইসলামকে আমরা গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও ভালোবাসায় স্মরণ করছি। তাঁর পরিবার, সহকর্মী ও অগণিত শুভানুধ্যায়ীর প্রতি আমাদের গভীর সমবেদনা।

Dr Khairul Islam (1959 — Infinity)
We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Dr Khairul Islam, Regional Director of WaterAid South Asia.
Throughout his long and distinguished career, he made an extraordinary contribution to the advancement of public health and the WASH sector in Bangladesh. Through his warmth, wisdom, leadership, vision and deep commitment to the country, he became an exceptional pathfinder and a legendary figure in the sector.
His passing is an irreparable loss. To us, he was a mentor and a guiding light. Countless people learned from his knowledge, humility and leadership, drew inspiration from him, and found direction in their own journeys.
We remember Dr Khairul Islam with profound respect, gratitude and affection. Our deepest condolences are with his family, colleagues and countless well-wishers.
