Alpha Commerz Ltd. is seeking a driven and accomplished Executive, Category & Procurement to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives that deliver significant cost savings and improve overall procurement effectiveness.

Responsibilities
-Upload product listings to our marketplace, following established procedures and quality standards.
-Enter accurate and detailed product information, including descriptions, specifications, variations (size, color, etc.), and pricing.
-Categorise and tag products for optimal searchability on the platform.
-Manage product inventory levels and update stock availability.
-Optimise product titles and descriptions for search engines to improve organic ranking.
-Led the development and ex*****on of category management strategies across relevant categories for e-commerce
-Conduct in-depth market research, supplier analysis, and spend optimization to identify cost reduction opportunities.
-Stay updated on e-commerce platform functionalities and best practices for product uploads.
-Collaborate with internal teams like purchasing, marketing, and merchandising to ensure smooth product launches.
-May assist with troubleshooting technical issues related to product uploads.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in MS Office & Google Workspace.
-Proven track record of success in developing and implementing cost-saving procurement strategies.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Working knowledge of SEO principles is a plus.
-Experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. (degrees from BRAC, AIUB, AUST, BUP, IUB, NSU, DU, or JU will get a higher priority).
Employment Status: Full-Time ( 6 Days/Week )
Experience: 2+ years of experience in a category management or procurement leadership role.
Working Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

As a 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐎𝐩𝐬 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫, you will need to be skilled in Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud computing platforms (ex: AWS), CI-CD with Jenkins, Automation with bash/python scripting, Git, Nginx, MySQL or PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; with 3+ years of industry experience including project management or systems analysis or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;

Linux certifications like RHCSA, and RHCE.
AWS certification like SAA/SOA or relevant experience;
Working with AWS in a serverless context (Fargate, Lambda, CloudFormation, APIGateway, Cognito, etc).
Professional skills in designing & and deploying scalable, highly available, cost-effective, fault-tolerant systems & and infrastructure at on-premises and AWS using EKS Fargate, EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, ELB, VPC, EBS, Route 53, Auto-Scaling, CloudWatch, etc. services.
Professional knowledge in Containerized platforms (Docker & Kubernetes).

𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞:
Professional skills in Load Balancer (Nginx, HAProxy);
Professional skills in MySQL/PostgreSQL (Including Replication, and Performance tuning);
Professional skills in Linux (RHEL, CentOS);
Knowledge in scripting language Bash and/or (Python/PHP);
Knowledge of infrastructure as code preferred Ansible or Terraform, would be a plus.
Skills in troubleshooting high availability applications on PHP/Python/Node.js using the above stacks;
Familiarity with GIT, Jenkins, Elasticsearch, Grafana, and Kibana is a plus;

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Java Software Engineer with expertise in backend development and eCommerce microservices with a proper project management skill set. As a Backend Lead, you will take ownership of designing and implementing scalable microservice architectures for eCommerce platforms.
