One Recurring Commercial Cleaning Account Can Change How You Look at Google Ads.

Imagine landing a commercial cleaning client worth $500/month.

That’s not just a $500 job.

If they stay for 12 months, that’s $6,000 in revenue from one customer.

Now imagine Google Ads consistently helping you find more customers like that.

This is why I don’t believe cleaning businesses should focus only on getting the cheapest leads.

The focus should be on finding customers who can bring long-term value to the business.

With the right Google Ads strategy, you can focus your budget on:

→ Services you want to grow
→ Locations you want to target
→ High-intent searches
→ Customers with recurring potential

Because the goal isn’t just to make your phone ring.

It’s to bring in customers who can help you grow.

If you own a cleaning business and you’re serious about getting more high-value customers through Google Ads, send me a message today.

I’ll take a look at your current approach and show you where I see opportunities to improve.

Your next valuable commercial cleaning client could already be searching Google. Let’s make sure they find your business.

A Cleaning Business Spent $700 on Google Ads-Here’s What We Generated.

Here’s a quick look at a 30-day Google Ads campaign I managed for a cleaning business.

The numbers:

• $700 ad spend
• 3,400+ impressions
• 170 clicks
• 17 tracked conversions

But the goal wasn’t simply to generate clicks.

The focus was on getting the campaign in front of people who were actively searching for cleaning services and creating a system to track valuable actions.

I focused on:

→ Relevant cleaning service keywords
→ Targeted locations
→ Search intent
→ Conversion tracking
→ Ongoing campaign optimization

The result?

$700 in ad spend generated 170 clicks and 17 tracked conversions.

More importantly, the campaign gave us real data to understand what was working and where the opportunity was.

That data is what allows you to make smarter decisions with the next dollar you spend.

Because successful Google Ads isn’t about spending the biggest budget.

It’s about making your budget work strategically.

If you’re a cleaning business owner thinking about using Google Ads to generate more customers, feel free to reach out.

I’d be happy to discuss what a strategy could look like for your business.

Two Cleaning Company Owners. Same Industry. Very Different Google Ads Results.

A while ago, I started working with a cleaning business owner for $700/month to manage his Google Ads.

One of his friends also owned a cleaning company.

His friend decided to run Google Ads himself.

He started with around $1,300 in ad spend.

My client started with a much smaller budget.

The interesting part?

It wasn’t really about who spent more.

It was about how the money was being used.

I focused on the right services, the right locations, search intent, conversion tracking, and continuously looked at what was actually bringing valuable opportunities.

And the results started coming in.

My client was happy with the results.

So instead of keeping the same budget, he decided to increase his monthly ad spend to around $3,000 because he saw an opportunity to grow further.

Meanwhile, his friend had already spent around $1,900 and still hadn't generated even 4 meaningful leads.

Eventually, he came to me and asked if I could take over his Google Ads.

We started with a $1,000/month management setup, focused on building the campaign properly and making the budget work toward the customers he actually wanted.

And once again, the results improved significantly.

This is why I always tell cleaning business owners:

Google Ads isn't simply about putting money into Google and waiting for leads.

Two businesses can spend different amounts - or even the same amount - and get completely different results.

Because what matters is:

Who you're targeting.
What you're targeting.
How you're tracking results.
And what you do with the data.

Spending more doesn't automatically mean getting more customers.

A smarter strategy can make a smaller budget work much harder.

If you're a cleaning business owner running Google Ads yourself and you're not happy with the results, don't immediately assume Google Ads doesn't work for your business.

Sometimes, the problem isn't the platform.

It's the strategy behind it.

If you want, send me a message and I can take a look at what you're currently doing and tell you what I'd improve first.

If I Took Over a Cleaning Company’s Google Ads Account Today, These Are the First 5 Things I’d Check.

Before changing keywords.
Before increasing the budget.
Before launching another campaign.

I’d want to understand what’s actually happening inside the account.

1. Search Terms

Are people searching for the services you actually want to sell?

If the searches aren’t relevant, more clicks won’t necessarily mean more business.

2. Location Targeting

Are your ads reaching people inside your actual service area?

For a local cleaning company, showing ads in the wrong locations can quietly eat into the budget.

3. Conversion Tracking

Are we actually tracking calls, form submissions, and other valuable actions?

Because if we can’t measure what’s working, we’re making decisions based on assumptions.

4. Lead Quality

How many of those leads are becoming real customers?

A campaign generating 30 leads may look better than one generating 15-but if those 15 are much better qualified, the second campaign could be far more valuable.

5. Where the Revenue Is Coming From

Which services are bringing the best customers?

Which locations perform best?

Which types of customers are more likely to book recurring service?

That’s the information I want to see before deciding where the next advertising dollar should go.

Because I don’t believe the goal of Google Ads should simply be:

“Get more clicks.”
Or even:
“Get more leads.”

The bigger goal is:

Get more of the right customers for your cleaning business.

And once you know what those customers look like, your Google Ads strategy becomes much more intentional.

If you own a cleaning business and you're currently running Google Ads, what would you want to know first-how many leads you're getting, or how many of those leads are actually turning into customers?

What if your cleaning business got 40 leads from Google Ads this month?

Pretty exciting, right?

But imagine if those 40 leads were not just inquiries

They were people actually looking for the services you offer, in the areas you serve, and ready to become paying customers.

That’s where Google Ads can become really powerful for a cleaning business.

Because the goal isn’t simply to get more leads.

It’s to get better opportunities.

For example, instead of spending your budget chasing every possible click, you can focus on:

• The services you want more of
• The areas you want to grow in
• The types of customers you want to work with
• And the searches that are most likely to turn into real business

Then you track what happens after the lead comes in.

Which calls became customers?

Which customers booked recurring service?

Which services brought the most revenue?

That information helps you make smarter decisions and gradually put more of your budget toward what is actually working.

Because 40 leads is exciting.
40 qualified opportunities is even better.

And if those opportunities turn into recurring customers?

That’s when Google Ads can become a real growth channel for your cleaning business-not just another marketing expense.

If you’re thinking about using Google Ads to grow your cleaning business, feel free to message me.

I’m always happy to talk through what could make sense for your business before you spend a dollar.

A $50 Cleaning Job and a $500 Cleaning Job Shouldn’t Be Treated the Same.

If you own a cleaning business, this is something you should think about before your next Google Ads campaign.

Because Google doesn’t know which leads are actually valuable to you.

It sees a phone call.

You see a potential customer.

But not every customer has the same value.

A $50 one-time cleaning job is one thing.

A $500 commercial cleaning job that turns into a recurring account?

That could be worth $6,000+ a year.

And that changes how you should think about your advertising.

The goal shouldn’t simply be:

“How many leads did Google Ads generate?”

The better questions are:

Which leads turned into paying customers?
Which customers became recurring accounts?
Which services are actually producing the most revenue?

Because if you're spending $1,500/month on Google Ads and treating every lead equally, you may be optimizing for the wrong thing.

I’d rather know that we generated 10 high-value opportunities than celebrate 50 leads that barely turn into revenue.

That’s where proper conversion tracking + lead quality data + campaign optimization become extremely important.

Your Google Ads shouldn’t just bring you more calls.

They should help you find more of the customers you actually want.

And this is one of the biggest mistakes I see cleaning businesses make:

They optimize for leads.
Instead of optimizing for business.

If you're a cleaning business owner currently running Google Ads and you're not sure whether you're getting *good leads* or just more leads, send me a message.

I'll take a look at how you're currently approaching it and tell you what I'd focus on first.

43 High-Quality Leads in 30 Days for a Cleaning Business Using Google Ads.

Many cleaning business owners spend hours posting in Facebook groups, responding to inquiries, and chasing leads that never turn into paying customers.

Recently, a cleaning business owner approached me with a common challenge:

❌ Inconsistent lead flow
❌ Low-quality inquiries
❌ Too much time wasted on unqualified prospects

His goal was simple:

✅ More qualified leads
✅ Consistent bookings
✅ Better ROI from marketing

After reviewing his business, I recommended a Google Ads strategy focused on local lead generation.

Here's what I implemented:

✔ Strategic keyword targeting
✔ Localized campaign structure
✔ Performance Max campaign setup
✔ Conversion tracking implementation
✔ Ongoing optimization focused on lead quality

📊 Results:

✅ 45.2K Impressions
✅ 1.26K Clicks
✅ 43 Conversions
✅ Consistent flow of qualified inquiries
✅ Location: USA

More importantly, the business started receiving leads from people actively searching for cleaning services-not just casually browsing social media.
Why does this matter?

Because when someone searches for a service on Google, they're often much closer to making a buying decision.

Today, I continue managing and optimizing the account to improve lead quality and maximize return on ad spend.

Why clients work with me:

✔ Google Certified
✔ 3+ Years of Google Ads Experience
✔ Conversion Tracking Specialist
✔ Experience with Local Service Businesses
✔ ROI-Focused Campaign Strategy
✔ Ongoing Optimization & Performance Analysis

I don't focus on generating more clicks.

I focus on generating leads that have a higher chance of becoming paying customers.

If you're running a cleaning business and struggling with inconsistent lead generation, I'd be happy to review your current marketing strategy.

05/09/2026

If I Had a Cleaning Business in 2026, This Is Exactly How I’d Get New Customers.

I wouldn’t start by posting more on Facebook.

I wouldn’t spend hours making “before & after” posts hoping someone needs a cleaner today.

And I definitely wouldn’t try to compete with every cleaning company in the city.

I’d build a simple system around Google Search Ads + conversion tracking + a strong offer.

Here’s why:

When someone searches:

🔎 “house cleaning near me”
🔎 “deep cleaning service”
🔎 “move out cleaning near me”

They already have a problem and are actively looking for someone to solve it.

That’s the traffic I want.

But getting clicks isn’t enough.

If I were running the business, I’d focus on 5 things:

1️⃣ Target high-intent searches

Not every keyword is worth paying for.

I’d focus the budget on searches that show clear buying intent and remove irrelevant traffic.

2️⃣ Make the ad match the service

If someone searches for “move out cleaning,” I want them to see an ad specifically about move-out cleaning—not a generic “professional cleaning services” message.

Relevance matters.

3️⃣ Give people a reason to contact me

“Professional Cleaning Services” is easy to ignore.

A clear offer, transparent starting price, free quote, same-week availability, or another strong reason to take action can make a big difference.

4️⃣ Track the leads-not just the clicks

This is where many campaigns go wrong.

I want to know:

→ How many calls came from the ads?
→ How many quote requests?
→ Which keywords generated them?
→ Which campaigns are actually producing customers?

Because 100 clicks mean nothing if they don’t turn into real opportunities.

5️⃣ Optimize for profitable customers

The goal isn’t to get the cheapest click.

The goal is to generate profitable cleaning jobs consistently.

If one campaign brings 30 leads but another brings 15 leads that turn into much better customers, I’d rather invest more in the second one.

That’s how I’d approach customer acquisition in 2026.

Not more traffic.
Not more clicks.
Better traffic → better leads → better customers.

And this is exactly why I believe Google Ads can be incredibly powerful for cleaning businesses when the campaign is built around the *business*, not just the ad platform.

I’ve been working specifically with cleaning businesses and their marketing for the past 3 years, and one thing I’ve learned is:

A cleaning business doesn’t need more random leads.
It needs the RIGHT people finding them at the RIGHT time.

If you own a cleaning business, I’d genuinely be interested to know:

What’s currently bringing you most of your new customers - Google, Facebook, referrals, or something else?
