TinyOcean® — the positive sea fish pioneers on a mission 🐟

Visual identity for TinyOcean, a dutch startup pioneering the future of aquaculture with their regenerative and circular approach to fish farming. The identity draws inspiration from the pill-shaped fish tanks and the current within; the motif of water ripples, symbolizing sustainability and continuous renewal. A sea-inspired palette of deep blues and aquamarine — contrasted by a bold, purple accent that adds an edge to the identity and evokes the UV lights used in the tanks — grounds the brand in its marine origins.

Been a year already since these hit the shelves. Label designs for ‘s ‘Op de D00l’ non-alcoholic beer range: Kriek & IPA. Finally got my hands on a crate and did a little shoot — still super happy with how they turned out!

Visual identity for Corthouts Advocaten, a Hasselt based law firm that looks back on 60 years of experience. A new identity was crafted, honoring the firm’s legacy while positioning it for the future.

The visual identity takes a fresh spin on the classic Lady Justice scales. The tilted diagonal design introduces an elegant, contemporary feel, steering away from overused legal clichés like gavels and courthouse columns — simple, bold, and a little unexpected. It’s all about showing balance without being stuck in the old ways.

Exactly one month ago nearly 4000 ravers came together for the 5th edition of Garnizoen at be-MINE, Beringen for a day filled with techno, in a setting that made the past of the former coal mining site come to life again.

Design — This year’s visual campaign pays homage to the location’s heritage by capturing the warmth of the former coal mining site and injecting it straight into the identity. An identity with a highly technological character, creating a contrast between the old and the new; the location's heritage and the music. Subtly referring the industrial columns on site, a raster grid was introduced. To top everything of, a set of coal visuals was generated in Midjourney to strengthen the identity, with a clear nod to the past.

Motion — The visual identity was set ablaze in motion, making it burn off the screen. Bright orange glows take over the imagery, spreading like wildfire and infusing the identity with energy. The technological character of the identity shines through with an animated grid and kinetic typography, adding to the futuristic feel.

Little Waves ’24 is a wrap! Full visual identity on display; an unpolished, motion-focused identity, drawing inspiration from soundwaves and their distortion.

Little Waves is an alternative indoor music festival, presented by C-mine & AFF, which took place on the 19&20th of april at C-mine, Genk.

Design — This year’s identity draws inspiration from soundwaves and their distortion, resulting in an unpolished, motion-focused identity that perfectly complements Little Waves’ most ambitious line-up to date. The vibrant colour palette makes for multiple combinations in colour, reflecting the diverse energy and musical genres that can be witnessed at the festival. This kaleidoscope of colours is counterbalanced with a deep black, adding an edge to the identity.

Motion — Making waves — The identity was brought to life through motion as a dance of color and form, mirroring the energy and fluidity of the music at the festival. In order to achieve the distorted effect, all motion was processed in Vectoraster.

Garnizoen is turning up the heat for its 5th edition. This year’s visual campaign pays homage to the location’s heritage by capturing the warmth of the former coal mining site and injecting it straight into the identity.

Garnizoen is a one-day festival, offering a line-up that spans the spectrum of techno, house and trance, taking place on the 9th of may at be-MINE, Beringen. More info on garnizoen.be

Little Waves blows out ten candles this year. For their 10th jubilee edition, I had the opportunity to breathe new life into their identity. This year’s identity draws inspiration from soundwaves and their distortion, resulting in an unpolished, motion-focused identity that perfectly complements their most ambitious line-up to date.

Little Waves is an alternative indoor music festival, presented by C-mine & AFF taking place on the 19&20th of april at C-mine, Genk.

Label designs for Ter Dolen's non-alcoholic range

Ter Dolen steps into the non-alcoholic beer market with a symphony of colours, deliberately setting the new range visually apart from their existing alcoholic range. The label blends three main ingredients: bold type, vibrant colours and a crooked maze. The latter symbolizes the unexpected twists and turns in flavor one wouldn’t expect from a 0,0 beer. ‘Op de d00l’ can be read as exploring the maze and its flavors or as a toast to the beautiful surroundings of the Ter Dolen castle.
