Less than 2 weeks to go until the Walk for Pink Ribbon 🎀💪​

With Johanna as Project Manager and the whole youEngine team, we’re fully focused on the final preparations for the Walk for Pink Ribbon, organised together with Pink Ribbon.​

From coordinating volunteers and crew planning, preparing the walk signage and routes, managing registrations and participant communication, to briefing photographers & videographers and getting all animations and warm-ups ready… the excitement is building every single day ✨​

Whit Monday, May 25, we’ll gather in the beautiful National Park Hoge Kempen for a day full of movement, solidarity and positive energy 🌿​

Whether you’re joining with friends, family, colleagues or walking solo: there’s a distance for everyone!​🚶 6 km​ - 10 km - 15 km​ - 25 km​ - 35 km🚶‍
And yes - kids under 12 walk for free 💖​

Meet Aimée, our new intern! ✨​

Aimée is 21 and lives in Roosendaal, in the Netherlands. She is currently finishing her degree in International Business at Avans Hogeschool.​ During her internship at youEngine, she supports the team with marketing and communication: creating social media content, helping with newsletters, working on merchandise and assisting with various marketing tasks. Her real passion lies in content creation and social media, where she loves coming up with creative ideas and making content that truly connects with people.​

We’re very happy to welcome Aimée to the team for the next few months and
hope to give her the opportunity to learn, grow her creativity and gain the
experience she’s looking for. Welcome to the team, Aimée! 💙

February = Pink Walk prep mode at youEngine 💗​

At youEngine, we’re currently working hard on the preparation of The Pink Walk for Pink Ribbon! The Pink Walk is a 31-day walking challenge in May that promotes a healthy lifestyle to help reduce the risk of breast cancer (borstkanker) and support prevention projects.

For this walking challenge in May, we:​
Set up and manage the entire walking platform​
Support companies and participants with their registrations​
Answer questions and guide teams step by step​
Coordinate communications (social posts, newsletters, activation materials, etc.)​
Make sure everything runs smoothly before and during the challenge​

And of course… we’re walking too 👟​
Our own youEngine team is joining the challenge.​
The goal? Walk as much as possible (and maybe just a little more than your colleagues 😉).​

In May, we’ll organize lunchtime walks together to boost both our step count and team spirit.​

Let’s be honest: school supplies can get expensive fast - especially for large families.

That’s why, together with our client , we helped launch a meaningful campaign in collaboration with Moeders voor Moeders. The result? 600 filled school bags donated to families in need.

As part of the initiative, donors received a discount on personalised name labels, while families receiving a school bag were gifted free labels during a local community event.

At youEngine, we handled the campaign storytelling, social media and press outreach - leading to 27 media features, including VRT and ATV. Strong visibility, real impact, and a brand story that truly resonated.

Happy Pink Monday! 🎀
Today, at youEngine, we’re turning Blue Monday, often called the saddest day of the year, into a Pink Monday: a day of action, purpose and solidarity to make breast cancer more visible and encourage open conversations in the workplace.

One of our last tasks of the week - and of the year ✨​
