Weather journal | September

Was mostly mild with max temperatures around 20-23C, cooled down quite a bit from August. And yet there were few warm-to-hot days like 29C, famously termed as 'Indian summer' here. Possibly coined centuries ago as Indian summers are abominable now!
We are into the first week of October and it still is rather hot under the sun than just warm. El nino, eh?

Tulip field cross stitch update -

Day 14 + 15 - 3 hours of stitching during the week and i've progressed to the bottom right of the pattern. Going good so far 🤞

Update on the Peppermint purple SAL in blackwork and cross stitch - September in green was intricate with five sections. Cannot believe it's already 9 grids down this year.

My first freebie featured in the Crossstitcher magazine's newsletter section 'Social spotlight' for September.
Cannot emphasise how much it means for a creator so small who waits for comments, checks and replies each and would be so grateful even if one stitcher tries the pattern that I painstakingly designed and test stitched.

Just assuring myself, way to go.

Day 13 - two hours of calm stitching over the weekend made some more progress.
Dyed fabric from local seller, pattern from Crossstitcher magazine.
