Since I started working on my longest project a year ago, here's a glimpse of how it progressed and the way I tried various nail colours.

Cross stitch can create magic, spin landscapes and fields of flowers on a blank canvas with a few colours. Cross stitch is what i adore and strive to perfect.
Happy world cross stitch day. Will feature my own patterns someday...till then, finishes from patterns by wonderful designers.

Weather journal | July

Has been a very hot and dry july this year, mostly the effect of El Nino. Third heatwave in three months so far. And to hear the nincompoops say climate change is not real! My thoughts with france and spain dealing with wildfires on top of this.

4. My longest project so far, 122 hours into a quarter of the pattern (pdf bought online)

I'm still at this one - a quarter done after 122 hours of cross stitching! At this rate, it might take a total of 500 hours to finish.
