I’m not sure why more people aren’t talking about this because I feel like this is the conversation that I keep having WEEKLY with women who are really weighted down with a lot of guilt and shame about where their business currently is.
The first thing, and I know this is scary AF but you have to drop the subtle performative façade that you’re trying to keep up in your business because you think this is the only way people will want to hire you and work with you.
I realize this feels HELLA scary (come talk with me) and there’s definitely a way to do it, which I won’t get into here but I can’t tell you how much quicker your business will turn around when you stop pretending like everything is OK when it’s really not.
➡️ The reason this matters is because you aren’t seeing your business clearly when you’re trying to keep up a façade.
And when you aren’t seeing things, clearly, you aren’t making the decisions that you need to make to actually move your business forward.
You won’t get back to a 6-figure or multiple 6-figure business by pretending that everything is OK.
People are smart and they may not know exactly what’s going on, but they can feel there’s a disconnect in what you’re saying and what’s actually going on underneath the surface and they are hesitating.
