I know that a classic blue peacock is gorgeous but I also love the albino ones! They are so mysterious!
Admittedly I have added more pink than necessary but it does fit the theme! If you do buy this patter I highly encourage to stitch it on Aida star fabric. (It's a glittery pink fabric!).

Arty Friday!
This was inspired by a coworker of mine. A very talented and hard working individual. She sometimes makes me rethink my opinions on teaching.
It also made me try using green and yellow more as a color as it are her favourite colours.
This ultimately became a very pretty embroidery. Sadly she left my workspace before I could gift it to her.

This pattern has some half stitches, usually I'm not a fan but I'm learning that it gives some nice textures.

The last of the peacock variations! The lovely pride peacocks. An interesting tip! You can change the rainbow colours with beads instead of stitches to create a lovely change in texture and hight.

This is a very old piece but I'm still proud of it. The title is Brussels Bronchitis. I made it after I recuperated from a very bad lung infection a few years ago. I ended up in the hospital for a week and had to take antibiotics in 3 different ways.
I love Brussels but the bad air and the pressure as a starting teacher just was too much for my body. After this I started to take better care of myself. Not only physically but also emotionally and be more aware of stress levels and my own boundaries. I haven't had any major sickness since this.
This piece was made with copic markers. Have you ever made art about a major event in your life?

Sunday excursion update

So before all this weirdness I love to explore places. Especially little places or exhibitions in Brussels.
I have a special love for Art Nouveau. There was a exhibition at the Grand Place about Art nouveau posters in Brussels.
