🧀🍷 Cheese & port … our all-time favourites
Ann Keymeulen elevates the art of cheese. As a cheese expert and creator of cheese-led experiences, such as her festive boxes, she goes beyond a standard selection. Each box is a celebration of craftsmanship, storytelling and flavour, enriched with Ann’s personal video explanations about the cheeses, their makers and the perfect pairings.
While her boxes have become a festive tradition, Ann is also your go-to expert throughout the year for selecting the perfect cheese and spoiling you with savoury delights.
This edition features an exceptional selection of Belgian cheeses – alongside one Swiss award winner – all thoughtfully paired:
• Le Folie Bergère – Fromagerie Gros Chêne, Durbuy
• Camemgris – Garage Fromage, Herent
• Napoleon – Catharinadal, Hamont-Achel
• Le Petit Blochon – Plateau du Gerny
• Drunk Devil – ’t Groendal, Rumbeke
• Ancienne Belgique – Cheese farm ’t Groendal, Rumbeke. A cheese that made history this year by breaking the French dominance at the Concours International de Lyon for the first time in five years, achieving a perfect score of 100/100.
• Gruyère AOP (18–22 months), winner at the World Cheese Awards 2025
• Herve Doux PDO – Fromagerie du Vieux Moulin. Served with Callebaut gold pearls.
• Pas de Bleu Fumé – Het Hinkelspel, Sleidinge.
Alongside the cheeses, port also took pride of place at our festive table. We began with Graham’s Six Grapes Reserve, a ruby-style port with aromas of plums and cherries. We then moved on to our favourite: Graham’s 20 Year Old Aged Tawny, the only port included in this year’s Wine Spectator Top 100 (ranked 57), offering notes of nuts, ripe fruit and orange zest.
Cheers to cheese & port. ❤️ 🥂
