2025 was pretty wack, but the trip and I made to South Africa was the highlight of my year. 🇿🇦For 2026 I hope I’ll have even more hangs with friends, see more shows, that a lot of people live longer and that a few people simply die.

Exactly one year ago I embarked on what would become the journey of my life: I flew to the other side of the world with the love of my life to witness the final few dances of that other love of my life. The tears dried up by now, the hole in my soul is still there. Luckily I had the best friends in the world next to me that made this funeral the best one I’ve ever been to. forever.

People tell me to post more pictures of myself, so here’s one of me on the cover of a record.

The feeling I experience right now can be best described by the dream sequence from The Big Lebowski (until the nihilists kick in).

Swipe to see the 4 different colors and some behind-the-scenes shots (pun intended). I am not American so I did not know how to handle a gun. the costume I hired was too big so I returned it to get my €80 back, which in hindsight was dumb as I could’ve sold it for way more.

This record is special to me, not because it’s my favorite band, but for a plethora of reasons.
1) It features demo versions of the first record I ever bought. I got a black copy of Frisbee with my dad in New York (another reason why it’s my favorite city), and it’s still one of my most coveted records.
2) My brother took the picture. His only real photography experience is a sneak picture he took of a Belgian singer that’s currently up on Wikipedia. We had the shoot during his lunch break, it only took us 30 minutes. He made me stand knee deep in puddles, but it wouldn’t have turned out so sick without him. After 30+ years of physical bullying we are even now.
3) Wielding a gun in a public park wouldn’t have been my best idea, so all this took place in the royal gardens of my dear friends and . A place that’s special to me for another reason: I married my girl there as well.
4) Finding a blicky in Belgium isn’t easy. So I had the honor of using the gun that belonged to one of the greatest men I’ve ever known, a friend that I miss dearly: the grandfather of my wife.
5) Best for last: my dear friend and mentor came up with the idea, gave me this opportunity, designed the entire thing and pressed it too. He’d call it another Tuesday, I call it the opportunity of a lifetime. Getting me on stage, asking me to design NOFX records, putting me on one… I am honored to call you my friend. Thank you.

Say what?! Another package design for a NOFX live record? You know it! Their final show in Linz got a live record as well, and I got asked to take care of the overall design and layout. 

Next to the backsleeve, inner sleeve and insert, I got to choose the vinyl colors as well and made sure the labels on each side would match. Now the three different colors are always represented on each of the triple LP’s. What makes this record so special is that lead singer Mike lost his voice so the rest of the band tried to take up the singing. It’s definitely one of the most special live records they have ever done, and a treat for each fan of the band. 

I still am humbled beyond words. Thanks again , , , , and .

I had the honor to layout and design the packaging of the NOFX live record from their final show in Barcelona 🇪🇸.

Yes. You read that right.

Next to the back sleeve, inner sleeve, and insert, I got to help choose the vinyl colors as well and made sure the labels on each side matched. Now the three different colors are always represented on each of the triple LP’s. ❤️💛💙 To make things even more insane, I was asked to choose the setlist as they played way more songs those nights to fit on a triple album. Most songs I picked were never featured on a live album before, in order to please the fans, but I also chose some personal favorites here and there. 🎸

If you know me, you know this band means more to me than beer, and coming from a Belgian, that should say a lot. Happiest kiddo ever. It was one of my life long dreams to design a NOFX release, so now what am I going to do with my life? Ice fishing? Baking? Getting featured on the cover of a NOFX album myself? Wait a minute...

There’s one man I can’t thank enough for this opportunity: my partner in punk, my mentor, my close friend . Thanks for your words of advice, creative help and overall friendship. Thanks to the greatest man-a-ger in history, , for realizing this Sisyphean labor and always being so kind to me. Thanks to and for the superb printing and pressing. And thanks and for being the best thing that has happened to me (and tolerating me on stage most of the time).

There’s three guitars that have been strumming the soundtrack of my life, and they all belong to my favorite band in existence: NOFX. Hefe’s battle worn Telecaster, Mike’s mythical Danelectro, Melvin’s signature Les Paul… Three axes that have serenaded crowds for decades, three guitars that I tried to immortalize even more in a trio of cool illustrations.
