10 THINGS NURSES NOTICE IMMEDIATELY, THAT PATIENTS DON'T.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Patients may walk into the hospital saying, "I’m fine, it’s just small pain." 😅 It's just headache, I think I didn't sleep well, etc
But nurses? We notice things FASTER than you think.
Here are things nurses silently pick up immediately they sight a sick person.
1) Your unusual pale look.
2) Your breathing is faster than normal
3) You’re struggling to walk comfortably
4) You sudden weight lost.
5) You look dehydrated
6) Color changes in your fingertips, eyes lid or lips.
7) You look confused or unusually weak
8) You’re hiding how severe your pain really is
9) Your body language says more than your words
10) Something just feels “not right”

People think nursing is just giving injections and medications. No.
Nurses are trained to observe what others miss. Sometimes, a nurse notices danger before tests even confirm it.
That is why patients should never ignore symptoms and should always be honest during assessment.
Small details can save lives. ❤️

To every nurse reading this: your observation skills are powerful. Never underestimate them.

5 THINGS EVERY MOTHER SHOULD WATCH OUT FOR AFTER CHILD BIRTH.
--------------------------------------------------------
THIS POST IS DIRECTED TO VEKEE JAMES.
-----------------------------------------------------
Dear beautiful and blessed sister James, and other beautiful mothers, aunties and madams, please I plead with you, find time to rest well after giving birth.
Your businesses can wait, your job can wait, your studies can wait, your etc can wait please.

Giving birth is not a child's play, it's not the end of the journey either, the weeks / months after delivery are just as important as the months of pregnancy.
Many mothers focus only on the baby and ignore warning signs in their own bodies, Please pay attention to your system, symptoms may be showing warning signs but busy lifestyles/ schedules may blind your eyes .

Pay attention to the following after birth.....

1) Heavy bleeding.
If you're soaking pads very quickly, passing large clots, or bleeding suddenly increases, do not ignore it.

2) High fever or foul-smelling discharge.
This may be a sign of infection and needs urgent attention.

3) Severe headache, blurred vision, or dizziness.
These symptoms can sometimes signal dangerous postpartum complications.

4) Extreme sadness, hopelessness, or mood changes after childbirth, please don't ignore.
Baby blues happen, but persistent sadness or thoughts of harming yourself or your baby are not normal. Speak up.

5) Shortness of breath, chest pain, or swollen painful legs , please go back to your hospital.
These can be serious warning signs that need immediate medical care.

Dear mothers: You carried life for 9 months. Please don't ignore your own health while caring for your newborn. A healthy mother means a healthier family.
